Swiping from the top to see control center, will that annoy you?

Exactly! That’s why they have 8/8 plus models. So, for those who don’t want the face ID can buy the iPhone 8/8plus! No one is forcing anyone to BUY THE IPHONE X. Jeeezzzz people
And no one was forcing Apple's teams to do some of the stupidest things humans could possibly do to a smartphone.

Let me explain something really quick that the Apple engineers were too stupid to understand:

Notification Center and Control Center are two of the most important aspects of the software. Placing them at the top of a taller display is unbelievably incompetent. These should both be at the bottom of the iPhone X. The Home bar should swipe left to get to control center, and swipe right to get to Notification Center, and there should be a new widgets page you get to via a swipe down from the top, since it is least used. Instead Apple choose to idiotically use that space for swiping back and forth between apps. It's honestly sad that Apple's teams were able to do the worst possible thing in every possible way on the iPhone X.

They need someone with intellect in charge.
I kind of agree with you. I use Apple HomeKit and access all my smart lights through the HomeKit scenes/accessories all the time. This is a one handed operation even with the huge 7 Plus. Putting this at the top of the screen seems like a real PITA to do one handed.

I put no, but thinking about it, it might, as I'm not going to be able to comfortably reach it with my thumb when holding the phone.

It doesn't annoy me. It's different, but I will adjust like anything else. I think the trade-off is worth it having all the other options with iPhone X. I guess not everything can Be completely convenient for everyone.

Agreed. Android has had multiple "swipe from the top" gestures for years. It's not that hard, folks.
