not sure if post this if I did admin can remove

I have some issues with my iPhone X

1 dust in the lens on my iPhone X I been two Apple store with the issue they won’t fix it since it doesn’t show up in camera app even and they shined it with there flash light no luck but strangely when I go out side with the bright light of sun I see white particles in the lens idk what to do.

I don’t want to do express replacement since I did one already came with same issue and store swap same issue.

2 my wireless charger won’t read at points I”m using Belkin up one from Apple store only solution I had is to buy a after market cheap one from amazon and it works using my speck case not sure if my phone is picky with wireless charges .

3 the Facebook app keeps crashing constant when I open the app it self

4 my battery life last 6-7 hrs on a charge not sure if it’s normal.

What shall I do people I need a resolution if it’s restoring my phone in iTunes /going to the store.

If no resolution I will wait for next iPhone to come out

If the dust is that small where you can't see it, you can bet it will not be seen in the images.

Some cases do not play well with some wireless chargers.

Facebook crashes, maybe reinstall it or better to delete and move on.

As far as you battery life, if you are living on your phone with games and videos, 6-7 hours is likely good. Do not see many complaining about the X battery.

No one knows your resolution, not even at Reddit. You can erase and start all over again but I doubt it will improve anything. I hope you get it worked out.

1. That dust issue is probably not what you’re seeing in your pictures. Are you sure they’re not lens flare?! Can you post a picture here for is to see?

2. Wireless charger spec generally doesn’t account for cases. Also speck cases are pretty thick in general. Take the case off and see if the Belkin charger is working fine, if it is then the issue is with your case. Use a thinner case instead and it should be fine. Also cheap wireless charger doesn’t mean they’re bad. You can return your Belkin and get a solid Anker charger off amazon for a cheaper price. As long as it’s Qi approved, it will work just fine. I’m using 4 wireless chargers from different manufacturers and they all work fine.

3. As others have suggested. Reinstall Facebook. That generally fixes 99% of issues.

4. Battery life is dependent on usage and a lot of other factors. See which app is using the most. That might explain the issue. Also poor network coverage drains battery quicker.

That’s a good answer, but I just figured since you have so many issues with your X that maybe you’d want to try a different brand. Just a thought.
I stick with Apple since the Apple store is 5 minutes from me

In that case it might just be a bit of inconsistency in the glass. If Apple can’t see it under their flash light then it probably isn’t dust. Also if the usability of the camera isn’t affected then, I think, you’re playing a lose lose game here.

If reinstalling doesn’t help then probably try to restart your device after reinstall once again. My Facebook is working fine. So the app in general seems to be ok.

So anyone with Verizon probably gets bad battery life

Update they escalated my issue to engineering to see what’s going on before they replace it

No offense, but these problems are a bit obsessive.

The facebook problem is an easy fix, as detailed. The battery life is most likely user based. My iPhone X last all day, unless I am on it non-stop. Then i have to charge it.

The dust in your lens, who cares? Does it show up in photos? No, you said it doesn’t. It literally is so small that it can only be seen in a specific lighting. So, again, why are you obsessing? If it is because your iPhone is “so expensive” (it isn’t cheap), then don’t pay that much to apple. If the Genius Bar won’t exchange it, then I believe you are being overly obsessive. Your particular store may be different, but my store is very generous with exchanges. Also...you said this is the second phone with this problem. Are you sure you aren’t seeing a weird artifact?

I understand not wanting to go with Android. There are great phones out there, but iPhones always have the extra “something” for me. The only phone that I think can compare is the pixel line, and this year the display is subpar.

The Facebook thing isn’t fix I did reinstall the app and rebooted my phone no luck and yes the dust in the lens is causing some sort of shadow when I take photos that’s why I want it fixed or else I will keep using my iPad till I can upgrade my phone in the fall and no my pervious one had a loose screen

Apple handling this one instead of you people idk when is next time

It's just that you seem obsessed with finding the smallest flaws in your iDevices. I remember we eventually had to limit you to one huge thread because you'd start several individual threads about lens dust, speaker particles, Touch ID, etc.
