Update issue not resolved by ers now it has a loose vibrate switch and more dust in lens I will go to Apple store for a repair

Alex,

Your vibrate switch is not loose, there is supposed to be some slight tolerance play, which most iPhones do have. It’s a non-issue and Apple likely is not going to fix or replace your iPhone because of a mute switch. This was also explained to you before in another thread how mute switches work, and you still seem to think they are defective.

As for the dust under the camera lens cover, Apple has the ability to clean that area by disassembling the iPhone, when they reassemble the iPhone, you need to inspect it before you leave the store so you stop making frequent visits to the Apple store and they ultimately will not keep issuing you replacement devices.

Here(-ish)
I would call all of you helping with this thread “long-suffering, benevolent, kindhearted, patient,” etc., but having dealt with Alex before, I think I will just call you all “enablers.”

Excellent!

Though, you may want to sneak in. If they see you coming, they might sneak out. You’re surely one first name basis by now, no? How good are your ninja skills?
Even before I posted this I called my senior advisor she suggest due to the loose vibrate switch and dust in lens to bring directly to store for a replacement/repair

The genius is not going to look at it with the same eyes you have.

How long until you noticed that your vibrate switch was loose. You said nothing about it and then all of a sudden it is loose?

Just when I got the replacement yesterday in the mail and compared my old unit and my dad 8 plus it’s all solid it’s not normal who ever makes me believe it is giving false information

Use caution. Too many returns or exchanges can get you flagged in the Apple Store and in their system. Try to find the best model you can and try not to look for too many imperfections. You don’t want to put yourself in a position where they will deny you future returns/exchanges.

They don’t I got many replacements from the store when my first phone was my 3GS easy process. Do you have proof or a link

Alex,

Read my post very closely. Apple Can AND will ban you from returns/exchanges that are excessively made with your habitual habit of returning your iPhones over and over. If you don’t believe me or anyone else in this forum, I highly suggest the next time you go to an Apple store, request to speak to a manager and ask them specifically how you become banned, and I’m sure they will discuss that with you conservatively. There have been other forum members Who have admittedly stated they have been banned with return/exchanges in threads who have been banned for making excessive returns with iPads and iPhones.

In the very least, I guarantee your account has at least been noted/flagged for the amount of returns of product(s) that you have likely made over the times you visited Apple stores.
