I've booked a month off work and set myself up in a cabin in Kiruna in northern Sweden. I have satellite internet and a direct feed for the event. I've got about 28 days for the excitement to settle before heading back to the office.

Not really, i'll do what I do every year and not watch it. It's best to just check the forum for any highlights of a phone I have no interest in buying.

I'll be watching it live and commenting on my Apple Events Discord server I created, as well as hang out around here. I'll be up early, hit the gym to get myself pumped, fix a good breakfast for the livestream, and enjoy it.

absolutely nothing, just going about my normal life....Keynotes are like 10 minutes of interesting product presentation and 2 hours of Apple stroking their egos. I rather watch later in the evening when I get home so I can fast forward past the boring parts.

You left out the "keeping my perfectly good iPhone 7 on iOS 10.3.3" option.

As far as the keynote goes, I'm lucky that it falls in the last week I'm working PM shift in nursing before switching to my new job/career in the IT department at the hospital. They're usually just wrapping up when I leave for work around 1420 (US central time).

I didn't realize that one had to "prepare" for the keynote.

Once I get off work, I will log into MacRumors and see the proverbial weeping and gnashing of teeth, (e.g.. Apple is doomed...Steve Jobs...yada yada yada) will look over the iPhone X model specs and start to decide it I want it or not. No rush as order day won't be before 9/15.

It kicks off at 3am here. Unfortunately I have work from 6am - waking up at 3:30am. So I'll hold off and watch it on Apples website when I get to work at 6. I told my manager that I'll be watching it. She laughed and said that's cool. Can't wait.

OP, I've spent numerous of hours in the gym. gotten my body physically prepared to handle any situation that can come at me. I need to be able to clap at all amazing features this next iPhone will have. with a few standing ovations thrown in. i need to be able to type quickly so i can get the likes before the next post.

mentally prepared to watch the TV for hours upon hours to be able to quickly process all and any information.

I'M READY!

If the results of this poll is repeated in the real world, demand for iPhone X is going to be insane. Supply contained too so people could be waiting six months to get their new iPhones.

My strategy is to tell myself successfuly that I can’t afford a 1200 dollar phone. I may or may not succeed .

That stratergy may work for me too. :)

I am still rocking my iPhone 6. It still does everything I need it to. Albeit slightly slower than it used to. Kinda like me. Heh.

I will wait and see what the product(s) are before I make a decision. There are a lot of rumors flying out there -- it will be interesting to see which ones are actually true. If there is an OLED screen that is bezel-less (or nearly so) that is the size of my beloved iPhone 6, it will be tough not to pull the trigger. The iPhone 6 is my first iPhone. And it has been pretty much flawless. So if I do get another phone, it will be an iPhone.

Just will wait and see what features this next one has. And of course, how much it is going to cost me. :)

I really hope you forgot the /jk at the end of your post.

Nope, the iPhone event each year is like Christmas was for me as a kid. I get so excited and jizzed at the thought of what's coming. This year I've been so busy I haven't been able to prepare, but I'm off work until Wednesday now.

Hopefully Apple ramps up production after the initial launch where is far less to receive their iPhone under six months. Otherwise that's not a very long duration for somebody to enjoy their iPhone for those who do upgrade annually.

I'll be watching it on my Apple TV at home. I'll see if Apple can change my mind and convince my why I should spend £1,000 + on the iPhone X.
