Curious to see if the X Plus will make it to market. Guess this may be the last year for 8/8 plus and Touch ID?

The 6.5 rumored iPhone X has a very high probability of launching alongside a new 5.8 iPhone X. And no, touch ID is no longer in Apples future except for the budget iPad and maybe a future iPhone SE. That’s it.

I ordered two - 8 Plus and X. Used both for a week, and I was more impressed with X than expected.

Since you used both for a week, I have a question that you might be able to help me with.

I went to the store and tried both phones - demo software. On X, the Microsoft Excel app seemed to open faster than it did on the 8. I would appreciate if you would give your opinion on general app-snappiness between the 8 and X, considering that the difference is not in speed but 1GB extra RAM in X and that's about it. I will go and try once more, but opinion and experience here would be welcome.

Probably some will be sad to see touch ID go. The 6.5 x will be a big device.

Congrats on the X :D , let us know what you think after some usage.
About to end my second day of using it and I’ve loved every moment. The gestures were easy enough to get used to. FaceID has been really good. The size and weight are great.
