I am not going to upgrade my iPhone X to any new iPhone version. The X size is perfect and comfortable for my shirt and pant pockets. The same design, “s” cycle improvements and only 0.7 inches or 12% bigger difference are not worth it to upgrade to plus size. Unless the plus one has a significant improvements that cannot be missed, like three cameras which will differentiate from others physically. The plus and regular size physical look are not too much different at glance or in many eyes, except when they are put side by side, only a minor different size with the same physical design. I wish the best for all who plan to upgrade. Fortunately, it will not be me who is a smart analytical person :)

Only 12% or 0.7% bigger, which is minor or negligible?

It might be minor to you but to me it’s significant enough.

What i find interesting from looking and reading forums about the X, including the new X/X plus, is there seems to be alot of people going for the new X plus and at the same time alot of people that currently have a plus are thinking of getting the new X because of size and weight issue's, i wonder if the people getting the new X plus have had a plus before and if so how come they don't share the same complaints as alot of people with a plus iphone, I mean will they have these complaints next year after a year's experience with a big phone?

Paid off my iPhone X yesterday, so more than likely I will be upgrading regardless, however I am more interested in seeing any exclusives to iPhone X “Plus” before I make a decision. I do and don’t miss the size factor. If I play a game or watch media I miss the “Plus” size. Other than that, I still love everything about the 5.8’’ iPhone X. It is quite comfortable to hold and maneuver. All the cards should be on the table soon enough though. Rumore has it September 12th, our questions shall be answered. Either way, iPhone season is upon us.

I have had every Plus and the X since launch. The weight and size of the Plus phones never bothered me even with the cases on them. I had become accustomed to the size and weight of the Plus phones, so going to the X was an adjustment at first, but I got used to it and like the size of the X, even when watching videos. I text with both hands so using my phone one handed never was my thing like most people. I can’t upgrade next month so I’m happy with keeping my X for another year, it at least until December - February.

I'd like to know how Apple plans to deal with the amount of people that won't be upgrade eligible if they are doing monthly installments since the X was released two months later than the iPhone 8/8Plus were.

They will have to make additional payments to have caught up to 12 months of device payments or pay off their device.

I disliked the size of the iPhone X so much that I returned it after a few weeks and went back to my iPhone 7 Plus. Eagerly awaiting the rumored iPhone X Plus!

The big screen phones have taken the place of tablets for research. So I'll get the plus. The x size is too small for that purpose.

I got the X for the new features, but I would have preferred an X Plus at the time, and I fully intended to upgrade to the X Plus if it was introduced the following year. I’m glad it’s about to arrive. :)

I briefly owned the 6s Plus and 8 Plus. I mainly came from the 4.8" iPhone model. While the Plus screens were gorgeous, the device itself was too big to hold comfortably in my hands. The X is the ideal size for me. While I'll watch Netflix during lunch on my X, when I'm at home, I always grab my IPP to consume video.

I have zero desire for a Plus size X. YMMV.

That was my main complaint with the 5.8 iPhone X, was that as much as I like the device, it does feel relatively small to me coming from a Plus model iPhone. So I welcome any addition of a larger display with the 6.5 iPhone, and of course a larger battery.

I too went from a Plus phone to the X. I absolutely love this phone, but I loved my plus phone and wanted the X.
Texting is a little harder with the X because the screen is a little narrow, and I’m too lazy to turn the other way for a larger screen. So I end up dictating all my text, including this post! So I will probably keep it even though I am on upgrade program with Xfinity Mobile
