I had a suspicion that my iPhone X screen (with max brightness, no night shift, no true tone, and no auto-brightness) had a color defect. The screen looks overall more pink on a white background. I tested this theory with my dad's new iPhone X and his looks less pink than mine with the same settings. Has anyone had this issue with their iPhone? I feel like I had an earlier batch of the iPhone X since his was purchased a couple days ago whereas mine was purchased 2-3 months ago.

I compared my first iPhone X to the display models at the Apple store and mine was noticeably pink. Apple employees exchanged it right away on the spot.

The Apple store replaced the screen but when I went home, the issue was still apparent side-by-side with my dad's iPhone X.

At some point you gotta just live with it, I’m on my third iPhone and I wish I could have the first phone back.
The first phone had a faulty Apple Pay though.
But had by far the best screen. I feel exchange phones are of lower quality. Granted that’s an anecdotal statement.
