Could it be true? I'm geeking out pretty hard... this has been the top of my wishlist since the iPhone 4 originally appeared.

A lot of these rumors are not factual of anything. There are so many conflicting rumors right now, it’s hard to find anything that would seem really believable. The only thing really logical this point, it’s just a wait-and-see. Also, for what it’s worth, I don’t really trust Forbes as source as it is.

All valid points but I still find the concept exciting.

I agree, that’s usually part of the problem, is that concepts, renders, fanart are usually leak their way into the rumor cycle, but it can be difficult sometimes to tell what is likely and what will never happen.

The case maker Forbes quotes and where Mobilefun gets its leaks from has successfully predicted the iPhone X, S9 amongst other phones... I think that says it all. A reliable source of leaks with a proven track record claims we will be getting an X design, and they are certainly not the only ones to do so.

I've been waiting for a smaller iPhone again. I would seriously consider this if it were to release. These new big phones just take up a whole pocket and feel too big in the pocket. Outside of the pocket, I like the big display. But inside the pocket, they feel too large.

Yeah, that could actually be a credible article from Forbes instead of the usual clickbait garbage they produce. Naaaaaah, couldn't happen.

I agree that larger phones sometimes are too cumbersome in the pocket. But as far as what this source is indicating, be careful what you believe, because these rumors are circulated from other sites that usually fantasize of what an iPhone _may_ look like, but usually its never factual. If the SE is updated, I believe it won’t be anything resembling this from Forbes.

I’d suggest you actually read the Forbes article and it’s sources background before making an assumption like that...

Its concept art, Which means nothing...

Also this same Forbes you’re recommending Thats recirculated the same redundant information that doesn’t have any validation as other rumors. By the way, Forbes is far from a viable ‘source’ (Which anyone in the tech industry will attest to that and doesn’t use them as support for an argument as you have because of reasons above), which from past discussions, you seem to believe just about _any_ rumor indicating that iPhone SE is factual because that’s what some other website says. So in a sense, I can make any assumption just because of what one article shows a picture of, because nothing has been proven otherwise, regardless of what Forbes indicates.

If Apple does this and releases a bezelless phone that is the same size as the SE I will definitely be trading in my 7+. I'm tired of big phones, but currently there is nothing out there to motivate me to spend the money and trade it in.

So you didn’t bother reading gathering article, not surprised.

I’ll post the bit you missed for your benefit just makes your previous comment totally flawed:

It is worth reiterating Olixar’s track record at this point. In just the last two years it has leaked accurate designs of the iPhone X (source), Galaxy S9 (source), Galaxy Note 8 (source), Galaxy Note 7 (source) and iPhone 7 (source).

A month ago, I thought:

'Nah'

But now I think

'Yeah as a smaller next gen Face ID unit to be unveiled on all models launched this fall will make this possible.'

I think that Apple is very bullish on Face ID and feels it's the future - and I think that they'll be attempting to migrate as many product lines to this ASAP (and trigger upgrades from across the iPhone user spectrum).

I don't think that the SE2 will be called that - the SE felt like a little bit of a one off experiment and not a product line.

Soooo:

- iPhone (LCD regular iPhone with notch, but a bigger screen than the current 4.7 one) <<< This is the one that hundreds of millions of people will buy
- iPhone Plus (super expensive super sized OLED phone with notch)
- iPhone S (LED iPhone SE with notch) <<< But with 2018 regular iPhone internals.

The iPhone 8 I think will stay around, but the 7 and 6 series will go.

It does seem a little too early for the 7 to be off, but it's so similar to the 8, it makes more sense for the 8 to stick around as it's newer (and has inductive charging) for any notch hold-outs.

The current SE I suspect will go too. The A9 will be getting a bit slow by now.

I did, but insinuating otherwise doesn’t make this article any more accurate because of unreleased details. For the record, engaging in arguments with you just ends up you being anti-Apple everything and anti-Tim Cook, it doesn’t end up really anywhere, just unnecessary drivel.

But since I have been through this rabbit hole with you many times before, it just ends in you making self claimed assertions because “What you say so is true” Demeanor doesn’t make Forbes or Olixar any more accurate, similarly how they (And many other iPhone sources) have been wrong before.

Again, Apolloa, concept or fan made art doesn’t make this a reality, it makes this what they want to see happen, but never may be an actual product.

Speaking of accuracy, I personally don’t think there is a lot of credibility what you have to say on here, which usually just ends up in frivolous arguments over nothing just because you push your assertions on others.

Three examples of what I’m indicating, which again, just because what you say doesn’t make it accurate, contrary to what you believe, its just your own beliefs which you claim as fact. (It doesn’t work like that).

Hence:

Their will be an SE2 launched by the end of next month ‘according to rumours and leaks posted on this and other websites’...

And:

Whatever, their will be an SE2.

And again:

And secondly I know their is no SE2 but there will be by the end of next month.

In short:

I think your own quotes are clearly indicative that you are just as reliable as Forbes is, especially being you make claims without validation.

Thanks for the discussion, though.

And you refuse to believe leaks or rumours by anyone other then KGI securities, and that’s why your on my ignore list, I thought I’d see what you had to say, and wanted to correct your false opinion that the source of th leak wasn’t reputable or had any credibility, when that couldn’t be any further from the truth, and you still refuse to accept that still portraying an argument evident you have still not read the report in the first post on this thread, because Forbes is citing the case maker story, they haven’t made it up themselves which you imply.

And yeah mate, I’m sssoooooo anti Apple that I have been commenting on the new SE or iPhones on here, typing on my iPad Pro I seriously really hate Apple. I really hate them with a passion. Let me just put my AirPods I bought last week away because I must really hate them right?
But you can think what ever you want. You seem to only see what people say on selected front page stories, not all the other threads on the site.

In fact all I’ve seen you do is go onto these threads about the leaks and rumours of an SE2 and attempt to rubbish them with no proof or facts provided to counter the leaks at all, yet you accuse those passionate for the leaks of hating Apple lol???

I want a premium smaller iPhone, but I have to agree that such a device wouldn’t be branded as the new SE. An approach that would make sense is keeping the X/X+ on the top tier and having both 5.0” and 6.1” midrange LCD models that have full screens. The smaller one would satisfy most of us that want a smaller X or premium SE2. At the lower end of the range, they should just have a budget “iPhone” like they do with iPads and let it be 4.7” with Touch ID. Lose the SE name.

of all iPhones so far I like the SE (5s whatever that same chassis) design the best and size is perfect; thus two times I bought bigger iPhones 6s and now 7s or 7 whatever its called (had SE for 2 years and se 2 wasn't coming out so bought iPhone X which I didn't like at all and returned it two days later and decided to buy 7 as 8 didn't do anything for me special) now with this phone it is too big with one handed use and I have pretty big hands it take too much space in my pocket and I hate feeling something in my pocket (SE was like its not there) and most important is form factor of SE i sth best; for sure when apple comes out with SE 2 I'm trading in this 7 i have now the first day I can for smaller phone. For comfy reading I have this new iPad 9.7 that came out; I have to go back to smaller phone badly this is just so annoying carrying a brick in pocket and some people carry those bigger bricks too my god

for me just because the phone is priced higher and is bigger doesn't make it premium at all; premium is the smaller the better as I prefer form factor over some huge brick and nonsense features i never use

*If* Apple does update the SE, I think they will retain the SE naming. It won’t be the “SE 2”, the original SE will be discontinued and the new SE Will Adopt the original name.

I hope it's as thin as the 6th Generation iPod Touch, i'd take that feature over FaceID or bezel less design anyday. 4" screen is perfect for what I use my phone for
