Can you post some screenshots of how a 4K HDR Movie look on the new 11" iPad Pro ? I dont have the device yet but would be curious to see how the 4K Content looks on the 11" iPad Pro ?

Yes I can post some pictures up sometime today. Although, once I upload the IMG link it’ll downsize the quality drastically. So it will not look as good. But I’ll try my best.

Also, the iPad is HDR capable. But, it’s not nearly true HDR. These IPS panels are pretty bright, with a respectable contrast of around 1600:1. Before I knew it was even a HDR movie, I noticed something beautiful going on while watching it.

Most true HDR10 displays are VA panels with crazy high contrast ratios, and while that’s fine and dandy. A VA display cannot match the vividness of color that a IPS can produce.

A VA is kind of in between a Twisted neumatic display, and a in-plane switching panel.

People can cry all day long about the iPad display not being AMOLED. But, the iPad display is very very good. No light bleed, no glowing, and most of all it is extremely uniform, with no distorting around the rounded corners or edges a all.

I’d much rather have the high refresh rate, then a low refresh rate and amoled.

The iPad panel is awesome, and I love it!
