Other iPhone Xs/Max buyers, which color do you plan on getting?

I’d love to try the gold color because it looks phenomenal. But what color case to get with a gold phone???

I know it will just cover most of it anyway, but some cases DO let you see some of the phone.

Black and silver are pretty easy to match.
 
Here's the thing: I don't do gold for the same reason I don't wear gold rings, earrings, necklaces, etc. Gold looks tacky on me personally.

SpaceGrey is fine but I do feel like it ages like crap, the only space grey product that held up is the MacBook Pro 2016+ imho.

I kind of wish they had a dual gradient like Huawei P20 Pro.

Will the Gold show fingerprint marks as much as the gold?

Also if the Black gets scratched, it will show silver marks. How about the gold?

Silver can be polished? How about the gold?

We know the black can’t be polished.

These points are important to consider.

I have a little over 24 hours to decide, and I'm heavily conflicted.

The gold is pretty, for sure, but I'm not a fan of gold, so that one is out.

I currently have a silver X, and I think silver is a very classy, awesome look for the X.

The Max, however, is a lot larger. I'm not sure how silver will look on that body, in the hand. So, I don't know if I should go with space grey, or silver. If the space grey was black, I'd definitely do that.

So .... I dunno, but I'll have to make a decision pretty damned quick!

I’m considering going from 128gb to 64gb. I just looked at my About stats and I have:

5,557 photos
178 apps
1,034 songs
315 videos
0 movies
53.51gb available

Do you think I can manage with 64? I haven’t really removed anything from the camera roll in the past 2 years. Also have a ton of apps that could be deleted.

I for sure don’t need 256, but not sure if 64 is sufficient. How much of that space is actually useable? Any feedback from 64 owners? Going for XS Max btw.

Otterbox Symmetry Clear case. If they make one. We love ours!

Looks to me like you could easily manage with the 64. I worry about this too. Last year I went with the 64 , I have 11,000 photos, and 50gb left. Plus I felt I could always put them in the cloud or somewhere if I needed to. If I planned to keep my phone for few years maybe I would go higher, but I'm thinking 64 will be enough.

You’re using 75. I would not go 64.

I had a gray X before I went back to Android. My plan was going to try silver 64 max but the gold is slick. Do any of you feel the gold is feminine? I may want to get the gold watch too but then wonder it's a very feminine combo. :)
 
Dumb question, but, is the space gray the same as the X model last year? doesn't look the same to me, but the name is the same..... and not sure why they call silver "silver", it looks white.. I must be color blind :)
 
Almost definitely silver. I liked the gold on the 8+, but the new version strikes me as a bit garish. I dunno. I may change my mind 15x before Friday at 3 am, of course, but I’m leaning toward silver currently.
