iPhone5 or S3 for the best self-portraits/mirror camera shots?

What camera do you use for these self shots now? If you are smoking hot I would say use a device with a good camera. If you are so so then use one that makes you look a little fuzzy.

This response is as bad the the OP......lol. Really,..... if your only so-so that doesnt warrant a good camera? If she is less than so-so should she just put a bag over her head and just show off the body? LOL

Seriously...which camera will you be using more? The back main camera or the FFC? The FFC camera on the GS3 is a 1.9 MP camera and most FFC's arent that great and are lower MP's than that. Other than that, i cant really help much. I do not take a lot of self pics to notice how it makes me look. Never used a dating site. But i have taken a few selfs with the FFC and i think it does well. Ive taken them in the dark with the flash an without the flash and i think its pretty decent but im no expert on what to look for. A picture is a picture to me.

Some people just dont photograph that well and look better in person.

I actually was able to find an article that devoted some time to self portraits with the S3.. It has anti-shake feature which is good because it's hard to have a steady hand when taking pics of yourself...

Also, the S3 also has a "beauty mode" which as face detection as well as a "denoise function" to smoothe out your skin etc...

The front facing camera remains nothing to write home about at just shy of 2MP and packing a sensor that looks a bit past its sell-by date. Pictures of yourself are good enough for a video chat, a quick self-portrait or squeezing a spot, but images do look flat, slightly grainy and a bit washed out. Thinking about it that could have just been how I looked on the day.

So apparently Iphone5 is superior when it comes to front facing pics.

That is info you should mull over. Personally i dont care. I dont have a iPhone 5 and as i said, i dont take many self pics. The FFC camera on any phone isnt that great really. It is meant more for video chat as stated earlier.

Not really; I know people who use their cell phone cameras for self shots 90 percent of the time. The number of people who use their cameras exclusively for self shots is higher than you think. People just won't admit it publicly.

Maybe that because you go to sites where thats all you do?

Perhaps some Facebook people take more self shots than an average person. I notice many women change their profile picture every other day.
