I love the look of the highly polished SS AW and the X. You just have to be realistic.
I agree - I have both and I know I have to take care of them a particular way in order to keep them looking good

Or not obsess. One of my "real" watches has not just scratches but dings and dents in the case. I put every one of them there (accidentally). It's part of our story.
It is indeed - Apple still call bluetooth 'magic'!It's all marketing/branding.
I agree with the op. You spend a $1000 or more on a phone you don’t want it to scratch so damn easy. Especially when he has it in a case.
Yeah your right but a Bentley is totally different then a phone. And I’m not doing the iPhone X. Hell I’m typing this on one...And a Bentley will dent and scratch just like a Yugo
not really true. 10,000$ + stainless steel watches what do you say to their company's? You shouldn't use stainless you should use aluminum to save on fine scratches when everyone knows stainless can be polished. You shouldn't blame Apple, but you can rise the question why Apple uses material so prone to micro scratches. The stainless steel frame of the iPhone may look better than the aluminium frame in mint condition, but the vulnerability to scratches under normal usage is exatcly why I would have prefered the X to have an aluminium frame as the iPhones from the 4 to the 8.
What is not really true? Although you can polish stainless steel, isn't it prone to micro scratches (compares to aluminium) in the first place?not really true. 10,000$ + stainless steel watches what do you say to their company's?
Wonder would no case be better?
What about jet black? Worst finish of all time...What is not really true? Although you can polish stainless steel, isn't it prone to micro scratches (compares to aluminium) in the first place?
It's all a matter of preference, you may think stainless steel is a good choice, others like me may disagree.
