I don't know if this was already answered but is the black a glossy black. I ask that because I am willing to get the black but if it's going to attract fingerprints then I'll stick with the white.

clayj, you're awesome! :D
Well, thankyaverramuch.

Now all I need is a damn protector for this thing... until I get one, it stays right where it is, on soft fabric.

Yes, it's glossy black... even the folks at the Apple Store had to concede that it will show fingerprints and scratches very easily.

Someone already posted a side-by-side pic, it turns out:

Dietcokevanilla, the reason I used a pen is that I already jammed the pencil in my ear after all y'all's requests for more pictures. ;) And I don't drink out of cans... I like to close my bottle back up whenever I'm not drinking... can't do that with a can. (Spill just ONE Coke can in your car and you, too, will change your philosophy regarding cans vs. bottles.)

PLEASE find and use the "macro" button on your camera. That way close-up pictures turn out nice and clear. It's the little button with a flower on it. I think every camera has one.
Yeah, I did that... guess it didn't help too much.

That is obscenely small... I'm not sure how long I'll be able to resist. Perhaps I'll leave the Shuffle in my jeans pocket when I wash them this weekend.... :p

Or just send it to me and say you lost it! ;) :D

That thing is thinner than the shuffle. OMG. Wish it were in anodized aluminum though.

Can you post a picture of it next to a box of Capt Crunch?

or

What it looks like next to a pile of cash?

Listening to nano now... it sounds as good as the iPod 60 GB. I'm very satisfied.

Now, where are the nano protectors? I don't want to carry this thing anywhere without something to shield it from danger...

No, and sorta (if $40 = "a pile of cash"):

EDIT: I will not shoot it with a hat, I will not shoot it with a cat.

How easy is it to use the click wheel? I'm a really big guy so is it easy?
It takes a little getting used to, simply because it's smaller. But otherwise, it works exactly the same as the larger ClickWheel. My hands are maybe a little smaller than average for a person of my height (5' 10").

Cool thanks for the fast reply :) I'm 6' 6" (1.85 metres) might take a bit of getting used to ;)

repeat after me

"I do not need an iPod Nano as my 40gb iPod is fine. I do not need an iPod Nano as my 40gb iPod is fine."

...yes I'm just trying to convince myself..

"Hey ladies, I have something extremely small in my pocket. Wanna see?"

Can you take a photo of it beside an original iPod Mini, Mac Mini, and a Mini Cooper?
I have a Mac mini... but no iPod mini, and no Mini Cooper. If you'd like to provide those last two items, I'll be happy to take a picture of them all together. ;)
