iPad Pro IPP M1 Space Grey to Silver Switchers

In 2018, I returned a couple space grey iPad pros because the plastic-y antenna band was scratched to hell right out of the box. Not sure if that’s still an issue, but it very much was a few years ago. No issues with the silver version in 2018. So that’s the color I got this year, too. Love it, the silver/black color scheme matches my Mac Pro.

This is why I’ve had white/silver everything except my 11 pro max. My 12.9 is silver.

I want to switch to silver, but I'm afraid that the silver edge will be too visible on the front of the device, as opposed to the space gray where it's less visible. Kind of like with white vs black bezels.

Is my concern justified? I really like the way silver looks on the back and the sides though. Classy!

The silver is VERY small and when paired with the white cover looks amazing. I came from Space Grey and really think this is better looking.

Oh i'm not a cover or case guy. i've been using my 10.5 inch iPad Pro without a case for over a year now and there's no damage to it. Same with my phone. It feels so much nicer to use without the case in my opinion.

..But the silver edge around the display doesn't distract you at all then? I want to be completely immersed in the contents on the screen lol

I went from a 2017 Space Grey to Silver model. Granted, the 2017 variant if Space Grey was only a few notches darker than Silver.

I went with Silver because I liked the small bit of contrast around the bezel where the frame shows and I also liked the contrast with the Magic Keyboard.

I’ve just gone Space Grey 11 > Silver 12.9 and I don‘t notice the edges at all.

It looks great in the white case, though…
