This update seems to have made my 2016 15 MBP slightly slower. I even had the whole system freeze up and had to hard reset. Also my caps lock got stuck on all caps and i had to restart to get lower case back. Its definitely not as smooth and the previous version for me...
My upgrade required a safe boot but seemed to be OK after that. However performance is slow and in particular screen refresh. If I go into the Apps folder this is ripples down the screen. If a background mail comes in the screen flashes. Chrome has become totally unusable, fonts have gone AWOL from Keynote and bizarrely Power Point has defaulted to some sort of symbol based font. I am at the lower limit of the spec, with a Mid 2010 Mac Mini / 16GB, but, this 'should' be ok and everything was fine prior to this upgrade.

Check that all your add on software is up to date and compatible.
Trouble often comes from those little things you have on the right side of your menu bar.

I'm experiencing some lags and bad animations system wide (i.e. Mission Control) since I updated to 10.12.6

System was buttery smooth on 10.12.5
