Is anyone keeping both sizes (11-inch and 12.9 inch) of the iPad Pro 2018?

Hey, if you’ve got the money why not? Personally tho, I think one is more than enough. However...Lol...As an artist, if the iPad mini had Apple Pencil support, I could definitely see myself getting one for when I really wanted to go light and mobile, and then also have one of the larger iPad Pros for doing more serious work on. But that is not a reality right now. Maaaaybe in March? Lol.

I am as of now, after having sold my first and only iPad ever, an air 2 a few months back. Got the 12.9” pro first and as amazing as it is and perfect for getting back into drawing, I wanted an iPad with equal power that was easier to hold while on the couch, and could also still allow for smaller drawing practice, I couldn’t resist picking up the 11”.
Have and like the Apple Smart Keyboard on both but also picked up cheaper folio style cases from amazon. Only issue I’m having is the screen protector on the 11” worked 50% of the time, unless your hand is touching any part of the metal bezel, then it works every single time. The 12” has the same brand screen protector and works flawlessly.
Anyway for now I’m keeping both. Thanks to extended holiday return I have until Jan 8th to return the 11” so plenty of time to decide

I have both and am quite happy with them. I am fortunate enough to need them for testing mobile apps at work and get to expense them. If I had to pay for them I'd only have one.
I would probably end up just using one constantly and letting the other one collect dust. I thought I’d do the same with my 12.9 and 10.5 by leaving one at my office and one at home...

I have a 12.9 iPad Pro and a MBP and I almost regret getting the ipad earlier this year because it overlaps with pretty much everything I do on my MBP.

I have a 1st gen iPad Pro - 12.9. It was too big for me to hold one-handed while watching tv, so the next year I picked up a 9.7 iPad Pro. Now my wife uses the 12.9 in her lap and I the smaller one, which also travels with us. We also have an iMac gathering some dust and a new MacBook Air for travels too. So to answer your question.....you can never have enough. Ha.
Well, kind of, sort of. I have a 10.5 iPP that I picked up about a month before the new ones were released because my 9.7 iPP got caught outside in a thunderstorm. One of the things that I do is run a charity and I am constantly making presentations to one or small group of people so I am thinking of adding the 12.9 as my presentation device.

I have both iPad Pro 9.7” and 12.9" but I bought them a year apart. Turns out it could be useful to have 2 iPads. I like to solve math and science exercises and watch online lectures with my iPads. I use the smaller iPad to watch online lecture videos and to read the problem exercises. I use the bigger iPad to write hand write the lecture notes and to solve the problem exercises.
I could have use split screen to do both with one iPad but the workspace becomes too small for such purpose.
I was going to keep my iPad Air active, along side my 12.9 gen 3.
But don’t have the need for 2 iPads, plus a MBP at home. And we all own smart phones.
So I found out Game Stop was paying 70 bucks cash for iPad airs and I sold it.
But it was enough time to realize does anyone really need two iPads?

I have first gen 12.9 wifi only and 10.5 cellular, perfect combination. For those who said they can’t imagine why you would want two, you obviously don’t need them.
I do. The 10.5 is great for mobility and many other situations. The 12.9 is great for watching stuff, writing with pencil or typing, multitasking,I love the screen size.

I'd like to as the 12.9 is ideal for desk use, which is about 50% of my usage, but I just can't justify the cost to own both right now. If I can continue to increase my productivity like I have since I moved to iOS only for work, I may be able to get my company to buy me the 12.9. For now, the 11 inch is the best of both worlds.
I would have if I could have, but that’s definitely not in my budget.

I had both 2017 iPad Pros. The 10.5 was for casual use and travelling. The 12.9 was for photo/video editing, media consumption and productivity. This time around I have decided to opt for a single device. I love having both and can afford both again but the main reason for going back to a single device was having them out of sync. As an example, I could have been working on some video editing on the 12.9 but then found myself with some spare time away on a weekend trip with the 10.5 and wishing I had the video project to hand. While both devices have their main uses for me, each device on it's own is still capable of everything and for me having two sizes was a bit self indulgent as I didn't need two.
