Nope Apple is fine for at least the next 4 years. After that it is all up to Tim Cook!

I think Apple should start searching for a younger successor to take over Tim's position though, it's never too early to bring a visionary on board.

Based on what? If you think Jobs left that much on the table for the company and nobody has to do and wont do anything else in that time, you are dellusional.
You know there is somebody there who is going to do things their way. If they stick to a 3.5" screen on the iPhone in the next 4 years....that will really set them back a long ways.

Definitely, the 3.5" screen on the iPhone has really hurt them so far

Also, everyone knows that Jobs did everything when he was alive, and "nobody [had] to do and [didn't] do anything else in that time"

And it's us that are "dellusional", eh?

No einstein..im talking about how many iPhone users and saying they want a bigger screen NOW. Not 2,3, 4 years ago but now and many are switching NOW to Android because of it and they will lose more if that isnt fixed.

Just wait and see. If things arent changed, it WILL happen. Apple suffered when they fired Jobs the last time. I hope they continue to make things better and i hope they listen to the people but we shall see. IMO a lack of a bigger screen will hurt them going forward.

 I didnt say they would be in big trouble. I said it will hurt them and it will. You will see...or maybe you wont. Your clearly a fanboy.

You seriously need to get out and meet more people that aren't geeks. Nobody is clamoring for a bigger phone except for geeks. The #1, #2, and #3 best-selling phones are 3.5". It's clearly NOT the deal-breaker some people think it is. And "fanboy"? Wow, you cut me to the core. Are you 15?

I think the iPhone's screen is perfect. I can reach the whole screen with my thumb without having to change grip, and in my book a phone really should be able to be used with one hand only.

I'm sure that there are thousands of companies that would love to be "dying" the way Apple is. I'm not at all concerned that their recent product introductions have been evolutionary. What I'm looking for from Apple is progress on making everything they sell work more seamlessly together.

I dont know any geeks. Just those that in here say they want a bigger screen and it is A LOT! You must not go to the iPhone section

Who cares who is #1. Apple has one phone and that one phone has one screen size.....not that it even matters.
Funny that you are arguing that....hmm,.......... no im not 15 but you surely must be a mature 17

Look, im not a iPhone hater by no means. I think it is a good device so you trying to show me who is 1,2,& 3 is a waste of time. All im sayng is IF they dont give the people a bigger screen is is going to hurt them and if you dont believe that...who gives a rats behind. Most blind Apple fans wont but it is going to happen.
Will it ruin Apple? Hec no i and i didnt say it would. Android already has a bigger market share and you can look for that to grow by a lot if the screen isnt bigger.

Id be really surprised if they come out with another 3.5" screen this time around.

You think that people on macrumors aren't geeks? Or that they, in even the slightest way, represent customers as a whole? Wow.

Good comeback. You've convinced me.

If you say so.

If you say so.

And you think what you want represents customers as a whole? Please dont tell me it is the customers that bought an iPhone either. One size fits all in this case but the interest is waning in a small screen.

Watch and learn. I know at your age you cant grasp things but you will someday  Apple has lost the market share even being on two carriers now.

In anycase, i dont need to convince you of anything. Fanboys believe Apple does no wrong and thats where you are.

Mark my words....if 6.0 comes with only a 3.5" screen...sure they will still sell many phones...they have their loyal fanbase but many will also flock to Android or Windows.
A bigger screen, id consider switching back...if not...no chance!

This is what i believe will happen. A 3.5" screen in next launch...many will buy the new one just for the 6.0 update but many will go to Android and a bigger phone.
A 4.0" screen launch and it will sell like hotcakes and those who said 3.5" is perfect and wouldnt want a bigger screen, will in fact buy one anyways and that will include you!

"Interest is waning." Again, if you say so. The facts don't agree with you, at all, but if you say so, it must be true.

Again, the facts don't support what you're saying. You're just embarrassing yourself now, but it's kind of fun to watch, so I'll let you keep digging.

LOL...im embarrassing myself? If you say so......lol

Hold on to your "facts" as you call them, even if you have none. Thats what Fanboys do.

Thanks, I guess. It's good genes.

Its not genes they see, its your immaturity. Who is embarrassing themselves again?

All those links say is that the iPhone sold well though it also said the 4S numbers were down from the others.
It did NOT say however anything about people not wanting a bigger screen. Again, ....they have one size and people are NOW getting tired of a small screen.

You did nothing to dispell from that so you have no facts. I never said the iPhone didnt sell well. You are the one that said nobody cares about a bigger screen.

BTW, is business insider owned by Apple or what? They are the only ones that have said what you posted and saying that Android is in trouble is a laugher. 600,000 activated everyday and they are in trouble?

Sure....

Dude all i said was people want a bigger screen and your going off the deep end. Im pretty sure Apple will have a bigger screen next time around so it wont be a factor anyways. They arent stupid and know what people want just like they didnt want to give you MMS and caved to the masses even though it took two years to do it.

In anycase, im bored argueing with you. Go play outside now.

Why is screen size such a big deal? Its all about personal preference. Personally I find the iPhone 4S's screen to be way to huge for me. But its my work phone so its ok. My personal phone is a Low end Samsung Replenish, it only has a low rez 2.8inch screen. And its plenty big enough for me. Though that could be, because I use my phone as a PHONE, I don't run any 3rd party Apps at all. Just what it came with. Because I don't need anything else, all I ever do is some light browsing, email, texting, calling. And sometimes I use the built in navigator.

If Apple keeps the same screen size, they'll do just fine.

Well, yeah, except for:

Which are laughably wrong.

This is you arguing? Wow. You should work on that.

I could post many articles too supporting what ive said. I just dont care enough about it. I just read one that said the GS3 is light years ahead of iPhone but i dont need to post it.
You can just watch and see but like i said. Im betting the iPhone gets a bigger screen anyways because they arent stupid and you will be one of the first in line.
