Ive been onboard since iOS 2, and iOS 5 is the one that's given me the most trouble.

Battery Drain was one, but that seems to be resolved now. And my issue with Auto-Enhance changes to photos not sticking when I'm using them in apps like iMovie.

OK
Battery drain sucks and sometimes my mail doesn't come in right away. Also the flash LED for notifications always stops working and you have to turn it off and turn it back on to get it to work. Vibration is buggy sometimes too.

I've been using iPhones since the original came out, I grabbed it on the first day and have also used Android devices in between when I want to change it up. I currently carry two iPhones, one is a 4S for personal use and the other a 3GS for work both on iOS 5 and I can't say I have too much to complain about. I do notice that battery runs faster on the 4S but then again I use Bluetooth, WiFi, and Siri a lot so I can confidently say its most likely due to usage. For example today I disconnected from power at 7:10 am and right now it's 6:04 pm and have 43% battery left. I use it for text messages thoughout the day, WiFi on all day at work and Bluetooth for about 1.5 hours today and Siri throughout the day. I have noticed that Siri hits the battery because on the days I use it a lot it runs low faster so I can say my battery issues are usage. Compares to other devices such as my Evo 3D I am very happy with my battery. I have considered a battery charging case but for now have done without it.

The SMS sound stuttering bug is the most annoying thing in IOS 5. I can reproduce the bug across all iPhones in our household.

Oh man, I truly forgot about it! In fact, this is the only bug I have, BUT it happens occasionally - most times I have single sound.

As far as phones, I have only had the 4 and now 4S. I have had iOS since 3.0. So far the App crashes is the worst. I can see Apps that are add ons but built in ones like Video and Music is a pain.

The battery drain is good compared to my former Android Phones. I just dumped a Galaxy S2 Skyrocket. After 60 minutes off the charger it was down 20%. I can use my 4S for 2 hours of music before I see that. I can deal with the battery drain since I have Mophie Juice Back Plus.

Last annoying thing is some apps after repeated updates still crash.

My one and only biggest complaint is push mail not working for my ATT Yahoo! account. And for that matter, fetch is spotty. I have to shut down the mail app and restart it to get fetch working consistently and forget push all together. I hope this is an iOS 5 bug that will get addressed in the next release.

this is also one of my biggest complaints. cannot stand going into the Mail app and finding that it's frozen and when it restarts, i missed a ton of important emails.

Maybe this is the first iOS that I've really paid attention to (I've used them all) but I'd have to say yes, this is the buggiest....in my personal experience.
Just a few I've noticed:
-Battery Drain
-SMS tone "stuttering"
-App Store showing an update but when I try to access it there is nothing there until I "kill" the App Store and restart it
-Have to wait a couple seconds before saying hello when answering a call, otherwise the other person doesn't hear it
-Sometimes when I delete my text message threads a message from a couple years ago shows up

Low Memory causes slow iPhone 4

I'm having random slow downs of my iPhone 4
Sometimes choppy animations
iTunes Match, music app is unusable slow.
Home button refuses to work occasionally.

Usage & Diagnostics is showing a lot of "low memories"

Disabling icloud and having less apps installed (& turning off features) seems to make it better..

Just wondering if you guys have all experienced some form of bug or another on this OS? I think from battery problems to connectivity issues, this iOS has been the most problem-filled iOS to date. I haven't met one person who is on this OS without some sort of issue or another. Apple is growing in terms of users but this OS is seriously starting to annoy me. There has to be a solution to most of these problems because I've never had most of these issues when i was on iOS4.

This is my second attempt to post because Safari crashed again. But it'll be okay. With iOs 5, Apple implemement a program that records bugs. I'm sure plenty of people are helping Apple by turning on bug reporting and letting Apple know of any bug they come across.

It's weird when you're typing a message and the keys respond late. And it's really weird when you lock your iPhone and you hear the lock sound like 3 minutes later. Lol

while i love iOS 5's features, i do consider it pretty buggy...

BUT... that probably has a lot to do with me running it on a 3GS. a friend of mine with an iPhone 4 has still had some issues, but only half of what i deal with.

so slow. so laggy. time to upgrade my phone?

at least on the 3GS, iOS 4 was much smoother. not that i would want to go back to it now.

The only issues I've seen are the battery drain, which went away with a restore as new, the Settings app crashing once every 15 launches or so, and the bug where sometimes iMessage crashes if you create an MMS and then use Siri to compose the text.

I've noticed small minor bugs but nothing too show stopping. I do admit its a bit more then previous iOSes but I do remember there was a bug before where it had a keyboard lag in the former iOS3 or 4 (don't remember which). Now that was show stopping

iOS 2 was really buggy on my iPhone 3G. I haven't had any serious problems with iOS 5 yet.

here are some of the problems i've experienced so far:

1) battery-drain
2) emails not coming into the Mail app sometimes. Won't be notified until I randomly go into the app and realize that the Mail app is frozen and have to restart to get it to connect
3) 3G connectivity issues - show full bars on 3G but constantly times out. all i see it that damn wheel spinning and nothing happening.

Well since you asked if everyone is experiencing problems, I'll say no to that. I have not had any issues with IOS5 other than it has slowed down my 3GS a bit but I really would expect that. Battery usage is great--may even be better with this update. No connectivity or email issues either--really no issues to speak of. :)

Same thing with me. I can't seem to finish typing a post in several forums I frequent without safari crashing. I've been typing them into notes then copying and pasting. :) Some forums are worse than others, but it does seem to be a memory issue.

Also, I can't tell you how often I'm trying to open a web page with 3G, nothing, toggle airplane mode to get a new connection, problem solved. Why isn't the phone doing that on its own?

From my experience, I felt as though iOS 5 was the most pleasant iOS to use! I have yet to notice any major issues, and the new features just seem to outweigh any minor bugs IMO.

My thoughts exactly. iCloud appears to eat up a ton of memory, and they need to fix this. There's no reason basic tasks that worked fine in iOS4 should start lagging in iOS5. Nothing has changed in their operation.

iOS 5 is buggy, but nowhere as bad as iPhone 2.0 software was. I had to go back to 1.x until around 2.2, just because it was slow and loved to crash.

5.0 is good for me, 2.0 the keyboard lag was so bad most people couldn't even write a txt msg
