mmm, today is the last day for iPhone 4 case program to. How much do you think I would get for an excellent condition 3GS 16Gb Black, with Apple warranty till Dec 2010 still on? (in UK)

then I know if I can afford the iP4?

cheers

can you not do your own research to answer that question???

bought one!

Was in Apple retail shop today, umm and ahh, Wife said "just get it" - different when they are umm and ahh about clothes!! ;)

What swung it is the flash, camera and video for me. The screen looks brighter I have to say and more refined but not as big a WOW as I though it might, but only used it for a little today, busy setting it up etc. ALso It may be a little faster in use, but again, nothing as lightening as I thouht. I did get big pauses on my 3GS with camera app, and settings, these seem to open straight away on my iP4.

What I have to do is to make sure I sell my 3GS for £300, thats how I convinced the wife, ie "it'll only cost me £200 really, and I'll get it back next June/July when iP5 comes out!" - hopefully

thanks people, any last hints? any apps, gotta have for retina display/speed etc?

For me it was the screen that did it. I read a lot on the phone and have great vision, so better resolution was a must. Also I got $300 for 3GS, so I thought why not. I was going to stick with ATT anyway, one year extension of the contract didnt hurt much.

I've just gone from a 3gs 32gb to a 4 32 GB. No, it's not much of an upgrade. Once you get used to the screen (about a week), it will feel no different.

mmm probably will, but what if you went back to the 3GS screen after a week of iP4, how does it look then?
