To me, the mini is the perfect physical size.

Still a touch physically too large for my preferences.

I really wish we could get a super stripped down iPhone "classic" or something.

I don't seem to do **anything** on my phone that so many around here do.
I don't do AR, I play no games, I don't need my phone to rival a DSLR, etc ,etc.

I need to message/call/listen to music and some podcasts/view notes/snap a photo here and there -- very limited.

Sadly, I'm locked into iOS due to iMessage -- not that anything small really exists on Android side anymore either.
Such a bummer.

All first tier phone makers moved away from 6" or smaller display. For form factor, some turned to the folding style and the result was smaller devices but added complexity and thickness. Second, they're marketed as premium devices. Who knows if we see another revision of the iPhone mini. Take the light wight iPhone 13 mini and uses it till unsupported :)
To me, I'm a sucker for smaller laptop and wish Apple re-introduce the 12" MacBook or 11" MacBook Air.

I don’t care. I want bigger screen. 😂
I hear ya mate, HURRY UP!!! 

iPhone 4 was the first with a flat back and no camera bump... iPhone 4S was a doppelganger of iPhone 4 CDMA but with better specs... iPhone 5 has a bigger screen compared to previous models and was the first to support LTE connection... iPhone 5S was the first model to have 64bit SOC and looks nearly identical to the iPhone 5 except for the font/text and the dual flash... Although considered by many as a flop not worthy of the price since it was iPhone 5 under the hood, I liked the design of iPhone 5c compared to iPhone 5 and 5S... To me it felt like an iPhone 4 and 4S but with a bigger screen... Yes it has plastic or polycarbonate back but since it has steel support behind it, it feels tougher compared to iPhone 5 and 5S...

The camera bump was initially an issue with iPhone 6 series but compared to iPhone 13 Pro Max and other models in between, it feels like a baby bump yet many are calling out Apple because of it... Now if the iPhone 14 series brings back a flat back and no camera bump, it will be a throwback to 2010-2013 design of iPhone... If we count the first iPhone SE which was a repurposing of the iPhone 5S shell, then we can add the early 2016 design to that...

A bit of an off-topic rant, I hate that Google has dropped YouTube support on iOS 10.3.3 on iPad 4... [I was planning to use it to download videos within the official app] Yes it can still be jailbroken but I can no longer use Cydia Impactor for that since you need to have an Apple Developer account and I don't want to go through the hassle of reinstalling a Hackintosh and perform the required steps when it was way easier in Windows back then... And YouTube Vanced which was used by many android users is now dead... Technically not yet since it still works but will no longer be developed and get newer releases...
