good point... i just meant that they probably mixed something else in it...it definitely doesnt feel like glass from what ive felt.

That's true, it doesn't really feel like glass. I never would have guessed it was glass. With that said, there's no good reason that all glass should feel alike. Think of all the different feels of plastic you have undoubtedly encountered.
