Is it true? Have I just bought the mythical perfect 24 inch iMac screen?

Hi,

Mine is perfect as far as I am concerned too! It really annoys me when people keep telling me all about how crap the iMac screen is when, despite the fact I spent 5 years as a process engineer in an LCD repair facility, I can see nothing wrong with it. Quite the reverse in fact - it is the best LCD display I have ever seen or owned and I have seen/owned a few!

Having said that, I don't believe in absolute perfection so I'm sure there will be something that isn't quite "perfect" but it's a close run thing! Show me a piece of equipment which is perfect and I'll find a fault...

I get the feeling that there are some folk out there who only bought an iMac to find fault with it. I, on the other hand, bought mine to get real work done. Each to his/her own...

I recently picked up a new iMac 24, 3.06 beast to add to my stable of PC platforms. I happen to think Windows, and especially Vista, are as awesome as Mac OS X, but they just excel in different areas. Both the PC and Mac platforms have clear strengths and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to use both.

My iMac screen is flawless and it's a real thrill to use.
