Nope, I like different phones, I had 4 active at one time, 2 seems kinda normal to me, I have one now with iOS beta 18.2 So just 2 active, unactive I must have 20, kind of a collection.

I still miss the days when the smaller the phone you had, the cooler you were. If you had a StarTAC in 96 You would flip that thing open like you were the most important coolest person on earth, those things were like lighting up a cigarette in the 80's. So would I flip that phone open just to show off.. no call?...I certainly did, I mean I paid a zillion dollars for just a phone! I wasn't really a jerk, I just like new tech, ok maybe I was showing off sometimes..LOL

So for years I kept my last tiny flip phone topped up with a cheap Virgin Mobile account, it was a Vox 8600 smaller than the StarTAC, and still I love to flip that thing open with one hand and talk, made that satisfying snap back closed, when bored waiting for someone I would just flip it open and close to occupy the time because yeah we didn't have full computers slabs on our phones. Strangely I still think that Vox 8600 is my favorite phone. Where did the time go?

Well, if you're really into separating your personal and business life and the dual sim option is not "enough", and you can be bothered to carry two devices - kudos to you. Sometimes I'm overwhelmed by the one phone I'm carrying around, so it's a no for me.

I'm lucky in a sense that I work from home, my business mobile never leaves my desk thankfully...

I do have my work email on my personal phone for 'just in cases' but that's it...

I am using iPhone 16 Pro (mainly for the camera) and my Fold 6 simultaneously. Thankfully we have Multi SIM here so I can have the same sim card in multiple phones at once and both ring when someone calls me and it stops ringing on the other one once I pick up. They are basically a clone of one another. I even use the same app layout haha

Soooo...you can have the same number work on two devices simultaneously? I need this in my life, like, now!

Yes, I can book up to 7 SIM cards of the same number and when someone calls the number, all the devices ring and stop ringing when I pick up on either one of them. The data plan is also shared among those sim.

Wow, carriers in the US are so limited and behind the rest of the world.

What happens if you get an SMS (or iMessage)? Does it come through to all phones sharing the same number?

I guess the best I could do is have my Google Voice number ring on all my phones smh

What do you all think
It is not weird. I've tried the one phone and two phone lifestyle. It depends on you and your digital lifestyle. For example, I use various desktop platforms and enjoy having an iOS and Android device with me on the go. Each platform have their pros and cons, why settle on one platform and ecosystem if you love tech. :)

Not weird at all. Depending on your line of work, multiple phones might be common. Where I work we have business phones and then we have our personal phones.

Ideally for me, I'd like to have zero phones. But that's not the world I live in anymore.

Two phones, s23 ultra and 16 pro max. Been into tech a long time and always had Android so figured I’d give iOS a go out of curiosity. It’s nice in ways, I can see the appeal to most, but I find it primitive/limited compared to Android. As a basic phone for messaging/photos type of stuff it’s fine but personally I couldn’t live with it as an only phone as I use my android more like a desktop replacement (multi windows, proper file system, no stupid limits on apps such as torrents and usenet, etc). I’ll hang onto it just as a different toy and out of curiosity to see if iOS develops much more. I’m in the EU so hopefully sideloading might eventually enable full Firefox etc.

I got 5.

Work phone: iPhone 15 pro max

Personal: S25 Ultra, Fold 6, Flip 6, iPhone 13 mini

I rotate my personal phones for different occasions and trade them in if needed. Im looking to sell my iPhone 13 mini and eventually consolidate to 1 personal phone again. My perfect phone would be the Fold with the Ultra camera system.

I have 1 sim card that I rotate on my phones.

I think it is weird.

Too much of a pain to carry work and personal phones since I can use (Office 365) work apps in a separate container on Android.

Also, it is super easy to turn off work apps when I am on PTO.

I suspect more non American iPhone users that are visiting USA are going to be buying cheap android phones as "burner" phones, cause when crossing the border their devices can will be inspected. Or apple services are going to increase and users will reset their devices, cross the border, then restore from iCloud.
