I just bought the 24", 3.06GHz iMac last Friday night. It's nice and big. My wife freaked out when she saw how large the screen is. She thought I was going to buy the 20", but I decided to just jump in and buy the top model with the new graphic card. We love the quality and so far so good regarding pixel issues. She now likes the 24" version. (I figured it was easier to get forgiveness then permission......)

One problem I am having is our Dell Laser 1100 will not work with the Mac. I did a search in the forums and saw where someone wrote they are incompatible with Mac's.

my new 3.06 iMac is a little over a week old and I have one stuck red pixel and the inconsistent gradient issue from left to right (really easy to spot on the gray solid colour background). I am taking it in tomorrow to have the LCD panel replaced. I bought mine through the apple education store online as we don't have an apple store here (eastern canada). Also, the 2 places in town that sell Macs don't typically bring in any 24" versions as they don't sell as well as the 20" versions due to cost. Anyhow, I am more than happy with switch to mac... all of my main apps (office, photoshop, and a few other small ones) all run on the mac... and I use Visio quite a bit for diagrams, etc. but found that OmniGraffle works almost nearly as well and can make the same high quality diagrams. I don't have any plans to install windows via bootcamp either. That (to me) defeats the whole purpose of plunking down the coin for this machine. Any chance of a 30" version of this puppy????!!?!?!? :)

(I'm already trying to figure out a way to get a macbook pro at work...)
