Is my battery life bad enough to bring it back to Apple?

As it's within two weeks of buying the product, you're still within the time-frame to return it. They'll take it without a doubt for a replacement.

Also people claiming to get 14-20 hours on a charge are simply not telling the truth and make "some" feel like their iPad is defective if it does not get the same.

I would be happy to get 6 hours of use for a device this thin. The iPad was not warranted to do 12 hours of streaming! The times are for a "mixture" of uses including not having WiFi on at all!

I haven't had any issues with my battery life. Up until five minutes ago, I hadn't even bothered to adjust the default brightness and location services.

I've been on my iPad for about three hours today. Wifi on the entire time, 50% brightness. I played Godfinger for about an hour, and I've been on safari for about two hours. Currently, my gauge is reading 81%.
