don't get the mini. The spec today is so outdated that you might regret buying... use mac pro with a bit better spec is much better choice.

Is Now The Right Time To Buy A Mac Mini?

I'm interested in a mini as well for a home theater setup. Really this update, and the MacBook update, would make sense from a business perspective. How many average consumers are going to be buying high end electronics this holiday season after stocks around the world have tanked? Economically priced Macs may be Apple's best selling comps for awhile. A release next week would be fortuitously timed. I just hope the graphics processors are decent for casual gaming (WoW) on a large screen TV. Oh, and blue-ray compatibility! And Apple TV like user interface! Or just combine the Apple TV with the Mac Mini! Umm, guess I'm talking past the whole economically priced thing now. Oh well, I can still dream.
