just thinking size wise really if I want something more portable. more down to the fact the first ten MK won't work with the new 12.9 as I don't want to buy the new mk. so if I get the 12.9 it would be used with just the Smart Cover.Wow. Why the change of heart? What factors are you considering?
is the new 12.9 heavier? Im just afraid its going to be like the new 12 Pro Max, that are great but super heavy to carry all over the place... much prefer the 12 pro for examplejust thinking size wise really if I want something more portable. more down to the fact the first ten MK won't work with the new 12.9 as I don't want to buy the new mk. so if I get the 12.9 it would be used with just the Smart Cover.
keep going back and forth really but I do enjoy the 12.9 pro. I use it with a Smart Cover now and it works fine but dunno.
if I get the 12.9 I will not get the new Mac. the m1 air works well currently so really it's not something I need but more a case of want.
You have to consider Apples dominance in production and shipping chain though.no dont think so, its still a pandemic, people are not traveling as much, using their extra $ on things just like this!
That's 100% true though. But personally I'll take it easy and wait.Could always cancel the pre-order if you find stock in-store.
There's this thread here.Does anyone know what time on the 30th they go on sale pacific time?
I'm guessing you are looking at the size aspect of it... but both 12.9" and 11" comes with the M1 chip.if I get the 12.9 I will not get the new Mac. the m1 air works well currently so really it's not something I need but more a case of want.

that's disappointing.. not sure why with apple, why everything keeps getting heavier and heavier!Heavier by 40g or 0,9 lb https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=10136&idPhone2=10864
Funny it weights and have same dimensions as my Spanish grammar book.

It's like iPad 2 > iPad 3 situation. They made it thicker to accommodate bigger battery to compensate for the better, more power hungry screen.that's disappointing.. not sure why with apple, why everything keeps getting heavier and heavier!
Yeah good point it’s suppose to be heavier to an already heavy iPad for using it without a keyboardis the new 12.9 heavier? Im just afraid its going to be like the new 12 Pro Max, that are great but super heavy to carry all over the place... much prefer the 12 pro for example
Yeah it’s more wanting the mini led display and I like the bigger display it’s just if I want an even heavier device for something I won’t use with a keyboardThere's this thread here.
On what time on April 30 will the iPad Pro pre-order open?
Hello everyone. I just sold my old iPad and I really need an iPad ASAP. I expect a shortage of stock due to the mini-LED display, so I'd like to order the new iPad Pro the moment the pre-order starts. Based on the experience with previous iPads, on what time will the pre-order start on April 30...forums.macrumors.com
But from the looks of it.. 5am pacific.
I'm guessing you are looking at the size aspect of it... but both 12.9" and 11" comes with the M1 chip.
But I been thinking… what if you order the new 12.9” iPP and your able to dock the MK with no issue, however closing seems a bit off. Meaning, you can close it… but it’s not as uniform as it should be. Would that cause you to return the 12.9” in favor of the 11”.Yeah it’s more wanting the mini led display and I like the bigger display it’s just if I want an even heavier device for something I won’t use with a keyboard
Good point, I think that’s where the issues will be. If that is the case that’s not a problem as I could just remove it and put it in the Smart CoverBut I been thinking… what if you order the new 12.9” iPP and your able to dock the MK with no issue, however closing seems a bit off. Because, I think that’s where the incompatible issue arise…. That users are able to dock the MK, but closing might be an annoyance. I’ve never really had a MK… but perhaps.. having a sleeve for the iPad Pro and MK could help the closing issue.
