Are you trying to get someone else to do it for you.

Its really not too hard....the problem with me was I was trying to fix something else and I ended up cracked the screen.

The worst that can happen is you crack the screen you already broke.

Although...watch out for that signal cable.

PS: Anyone know how to solder the stuff onto the signal cable? I can't figure out the solder points...

Edit: Since you have a 2g you mind as well send it in to a site since screens are so expensive for the 2g. You can only find OEM screens at a minimum of 130 dollars. The 3g screens can be had for like 50. So either way your not going to find a good deal on a screen.

So just go for the extra 70 dollars and send it in to a site like this:
http://www.ipodjuice.com/first-generation-iphone-lcd-display-replacement.htm (just an example)
http://www.rapidrepair.com/shop/4120-lcd-screen-repair-iphone.html
http://www.iresq.com/iphone/iphoneScreen.php
http://www.pdasmart.com/iphone-repair-parts-1stGen.htm

Thanks for the advice, but like I said I got a new one. Jailbroken & unlocked for $250 so now I have cash left over, I figured it was better to get something rather than site around for a cheap 3G to appear which wont, people jack the prices up on unlocked and BB's with 2.28.00 (if they know what your going to do).

Working beautifully, everythings set up, and some dude wants my cracked one, so that and selling 2 other things should make up for more than half, better than paying Apple $200 to **** it up, I just better now **** up this phone (he even put a screen protector on it already).

Thanks again.
