We all know the term 3Gs is just a marketing term by Apple

It's not marketed as iPad 3g, just iPad, (that supports 3G cellular

communication)

I doubt there will be a iPad s(uper) as it just adds to the feminine product jokes.

I cant believe so many people would get worked up from the use of the word irony. The two devices run on the iPhone OS thus a comparison of the two is not out of the question. No matter what Steve Jobs says, they are similar devices and when viewed from that point the "S" part seems stupid (or dare I say it? ironic! ) on a device that is now not the fastest running device in its family.

It is the fastest in its family, as the iPhone and the iPad are not in the same family anyway.

Some people just appear to view the iPad as an oversized iPhone.

Just because they run the same operating system (or variation of) doesn't mean they can be directly compared. It's like comparing a Macbook Pro 2.8Ghz and saying it's faster than the Mac Pro Xeon 2.66Ghz. Different computers, different components, not related. (probably a bad analogy, I couldn't think of a better one)
