here's the latest for me:

i updated to beta 5, fresh booted, all apps closed in the app switcher. i deleted all 3rd party apps. background refresh disabled. push turned off for mail. iCloud backup off.

charged to full, unplugged, and didn't touch the iPad for a day. when i checked it tonight, it was reporting 3.5h usage and 21h standby. thats a lot of background activity for a device with almost nothing on it and most of its features turned off!

on the plus side, it is still reporting 100% battery, so i'll see how that holds up.

i feel like they've expanded the definition of "usage" in the last few os revisions to the point where it dilutes any meaning behind the term. by that metric, they should be advertising that their ipads can do like 50 hrs of usage on a charge.

Seems to be the same as me.I charge my phone 3 times a day
With Ios 8.4.1 my battery was verry good 9-10 hours usage , iOS 9 is a battery drainer .. I hope 9.3 final will increase battery life . I am on 9.3 beta 6 right now and it's awful , is stuttering , lag , my phone is feeling and i seeing it very slow ...

iOS 9.3 takes a good step towards reaching 8.4,1 performance levels but its not quite as silky smooth yet.I used to charge my phone twice on 8.4.1 so the battery life has take na drastic hit

I was worried about updating to 9.2.1 as my 6 running on 8.3 was really sweet. I bit the bullet and updated and all is well. Battery I would say is better so far.

I've always got Facebook and tapatalk open in the background. Most other things are turned off.

As in you are getting close to 4 hours with about 1/3 of the battery still remaining (and that's with almost an hour of a fairly intensive game being on screen and another 20+ minutes or various GPS usage).

Mine is OK. However I noticed with the last betas that the time for some apps in the battery monitoring screen is f*cked up. For example, I listened to some music yesterday for 3 hours and it only say 1 minute on screen and 18 minutes of background activity for the music app...

The "usage" statistic is useless if that is the case.
