Mostly running fine for me. No major crashes, yet to have a full respring, and all my apps work. Did a clean restore of 8.4 with no backup, then installed the beta profile and updated to 9.0.

The only thing that i can't pin down is random battery drain. One day I'll have battery more amazing than anything I had before, then it'll get super hot and burn through 20% in an hour. Im thinking its probably some kind of diagnostic software collecting data in the background (battery usage shows background activity in Settings to be the culprit).

8.4 battery drained my phone a few times. So far better battery life on my phone with 9.0

If you *need* your phone, never install a beta OS on it. The smallest bug could cause you miss a crucial email, text, etc.

Anyone have problem with the AppStore contstantly asking to fill the Apple ID and password after attempting to download and install all apps? Any fix for this? Makes me go crazy.

Who doesn't "need" their phone these days?

If you're just a consumer who uses their phone to talk to friends and browse the web they don't "need" stability. If you are a student, professional, or work with an organization you can't afford to have your main/sole communication device be unstable.

The only bug I am experiencing on my iPhone 6 is with Wi-Fi. So far I have only tested it on my home network, but it will ask for my Wi-Fi password over and over and won't connect. Then if/when I restart the phone it seems to connect, but I don't actually get internet through it. Then of course restoring my phone back to 8.4 will connect automatically with no issues.

If anyone has any suggestions to fix this issue I am all ears, as I enjoy everything else about the beta!

I installed it on my 6 on Friday and it's really good. The battery has noticeably improved from 8.4, especially when enabling the battery saving feature. The main issue I've hadso far is that the control center crashes, the crash isn't noticeable until you need your flash light and can't pull up from the bottom. In 8.4 I had the apple logo re-spring crash but I have not yet gotten a crash like that with ios 9 public beta 1. Most of this update deals with behind the scenes enhancements and performance based tweaks and so far the battery life improvement is a welcome enhancement. I hope it stays as good when it is released.

I'm actually really impressed with how stable this beta is. Sure it's not 100% polished and there are some glitches here and there.. but it is more than stable enough for daily use.

As i said for a lot of people specifically those who use their phones to talk to friends it is a necessity in their lives to have a stable phone and OS these days. Some people literally can't go a day in their lives without being on Facebook, Twitter, instagram, or etc.

Well, there are a couple of apps that don't work properly for me. Buzzfeed sidebar doesn't load, Apple Music doesn't layout properly and is very prone to crashing on me, Snapchat takes forever to load - this might be a snapchat problem. But overall, I think it works great for Public Beta 1.

I was sort of specifically worried about Apple Music. So it's been pretty crashtastic? That alone may make me hold off...

You must define "stable." It's not going to brick your device, but it's one hot mess of buggy. Siri isn't working on my iPhone or iPad for some reason. Apps are crashing WAY more than usual. Facebook is even buggier than normal. But it does work, and some of the features are neat.

I'm trying to get us up on the News app, so I figured I needed to try that. I'm keeping my iMac on Yosemite, but I have upgraded everything else to the public betas. But if you're just a normal user, I don't think trying it out is a problem. But for the love of all things holy and not holy, if you use an iPad with Square as a cash register, don't be an early adopter.

Stable enough day to day i would say

Big issue why you shouldn't run it as you daily, there are severals bugs with iCloud backups atm. I for instance couldn't backup my phone as it exceeded my iCloud limit. I couldn't find anywhere to choose what to include in iCloud backups. Additionally, when i went to delete the backup it thought i already had, it failed, then upon retry it worked, now i don't see my phone as a device under iCloud storage. In fact it says a MB count under nothing but blank space.

So arguably one of the most important parts of a phone, the backups aren't working correctly.
