What do you have running on your phone?

If you are on a mac you might as well use Pwnage and upgrade to the latest version of the OS. That may clear some things up.

Then you gotta be careful of what you install. I was having some aweful battery life until I removed Backgrounder (Even though I was almost never using it) then I started getting much more.

I don't have hardly anything running (i believe:(). I DON'T HAVE the backgrounder thing installed. All i installed since i JB & unlocked was asbattery, a profile for MMS activation, memtool and the ultrasn0w unlock. Plus about 3 or 4 new apps from the app store. That's it and i hardly use my phone now because the battery is draining too fast. It has been in my pocket from 8:15am today and now its at 25%! I was on the facebook app for about 20 mins and checked my emails today. That's it. NO GAMES, NO SAFARI SURFING.

Yea, you should restore your phone. That happens to people every so often.

Assuming you need to keep unlocked, build an IPSW with Pwnage and just restore. That'll probably solve it.

2 problems with your reply:
1) I'm on Windows
2) If i restore, can i load my settings from a backup?

Ouch... Ok, then you'll need an IPSW that preserves the baseband or you can use your old 3.0 IPSW if you used one for your current phone OS.

As far as restoring from backup, yea that works. Some people suggest not doing that because it could result in fast battery drain. ;)

I'm having the same problem ever since i downloaded Backgrounder. I selected "always on" for Pandora. I ran MemTool and attempted to clean my memory, but i'm not sure what is draining my battery so quickly.

The IPSW that i loaded on the phone to jailbreak it was ORIGINAL 3.0 from apple not custom. Is that ok?

That's strange. Nothing there seems incredibly out of place... You may just have to re install your OS.

Thanks for the input. I helped to other friends JB their 3GS's using BlackRa1n and they are having the same problem. I'm not sure they downloaded Backgrounder.
I upgraded from 3.0-3.1.2 and used blackRa1n. Since i downloaded all the apps fairly quickly, i didn't have enough time to notice when it truly started draining my battery. It's draining it by the minute now. I'm not sure if i have something checked incorrectly in my SBSettings, but this is NOT normal. I haven't used the phone since those screenshots were taken and I'm at 32% now.

I have a 3g and yes i need to unlock.

Well, I would recommend you getting an IPSW for 3.1 or 3.1.2 that preserves the baseband. If you're on a Mac, use Pwnage Tool, if not have a friend do it.

Or you can try to download an IPSW, I usually recommend against this, but if you have no other choice, that's fine.

OR, I guess you can try to restore and PWN 3.0 again because that baseband is safe still (I believe, you'd probably know).
