Fear mongering is huge out there. We do all those things with or without phones. We’re constantly exposed to armies of bacteria... and we’re designed to deal with it just fine. It would be impossible to live on an organic, thriving world otherwise.

But I wash my hands throughout the day. Not phone do not get washed. Yes, we are exposed to bacteria all the time but there is a reason we wash our hands after certain activities... like going to bathroom.

I also go in and out of skilled nursing facilities where antibiotic resistant bacteria are rampant. I and not going to pretend that those bacteria are just friendly little buddies. I see how they turn out for people.

I have never once in all the years I have had smartphones thought about disinfecting my screen.

I feel so dirty now.

People don’t do this?? Have you not see how dirty phones are?
Unless you don't wash your hands at all, then yes, your phone will get dirty too.

I use wet wipes to clean mine and it's been perfectly fine. It's not like my phone will have deadly germs on it.

Just use wipes because the oleophobic coating really doesn't last long.

A phone's screen is one of the dirtiest surfaces there is.
