Compared to no source on your part. You're all talk, nothing else. Also pretty sure there were quite a bit more than 4.

It's like people who argue that God exists because those who say otherwise don't have proof he DOESN'T exist. Go away, go steal somewhere else.

You know you can bypass your water and electric meters too. Have you ever thought about that?

Oooh look, a data thread! Now is my chance to reply that I still have unlimited data and only pay $50 a month on Verizon!

Really though, there just aren't many US carriers offering it now days. I'm just lucky to still be grandfathered in. And yes, I'm being sarcastic. I just find it funny how many unlimited data threads come up around here :p

Almost seems like it's more of a throttling type of thread than unlimited data thread.

Except I'm the one who gave the proof, so thanks for agreeing that you're wrong :)

I can link you to plenty of threads showing little green aliens in people's back yards, but that doesn't make it true. Much like the carrier hacks people claimed sped up their internet, just because someone wants to believe they've hacked the system doesn't mean they did. Your "proof" was a thread where FOUR people claimed they were single handedly able to bypass AT&T's network-level throttling, LOL

This is a question I would probably ask myself, don't listen to the others and my god, the other forums on MacRumors are hostile.

I assume that you could trick it in to thinking your using 256kps when really your using 50mb. :)

Honestly, I wouldn't mess with a carrier. Last thing you want is getting kicked off the carrier.:p

Anything is possible.:apple:

When it comes to the problems faced by people on US carriers, I'm just glad I don't live in the US and live where I do.

I'm on the $30 plan and I don't know what happened or what I/TMO could have done.. But, out of nowhere I started experiencing high speeds even though I had already used up my 5GB A LONG time ago. So I hopped on to torrent my socks off, fearing the speeds would stop. Here are some screenshots for some better understanding. I hope this gives you some more insight? Sorry.. Happy searching!

PS - This is the correct app to test TRUE data speeds.
