There's been so much complaining around here of late (some of it justified, no doubt) that I can't help but wonder if there's anyone besides me who is actually satisfied with their MBP? I've got a C2D 2.33, and I've been happy with it since Day 1.

Anyone else?

I'm sure there are plenty of people who are perfectly delighted with their Macbook Pros – the thing is, people who are having issues are far more likely to post their complaints than those who have flawless machines are to post their praise.

It's just human nature, I suppose. Rest assured here are likely lots of happy MBP users out their quietly enjoying their new computers.

Sometimes I think that my MBP sucks. Then when I use my nephews Vaio the feeling goes away.

Very true. I guess what I'm after is some feedback from folks who are happy, and might share their positive experience :). It might affect some of the prospective buyers out there as well.

Absolutely happy with my 2.4GHz 15" MBP. No problems at all, this is just the result of you reading a support forum too much.

My MBP is great, I'm extremely happy with it.

I've read a few of these threads you mention and IMO some of them are just cry babies and some of them are honest concerns.

But don't worry, the iPhone is being released in Amercia in a couple of days and all that complaining will be focused on it. Some people are just happy being unhappy

200% happy. First Mac and it's perfect. 2.2ghz SR MBP
I also want to add that happy and satisfied customers dont visit the forum (or at least not often). Think about it. When they are having problems they come over and sign up and ask for advice. Otherwise most people dont visit forums like this one. (which is the best btw) So IMO, that two factors explain why there seem to be a lot of complaints towards the new MBP (or Apple products)...

2.2 C2D, SR MBP, and very happy. I love it. the 15" LED is gorgeous.

I came from a G4 Powerbook 1.67, and wow, what a difference.

Beyond Satisfied

I absolutely love my MacBook Pro. The only flaw of my 2.33 GHz C2D is that it isn't a SR... But for the price and the time I needed it, it is perfect.

I am in love with my 2.16Ghz C2D MBP that i bought in March. Makes computing fun again for someone who spends almost all his time on a computer whether it be work or play. As others have said, the majority of MBP and MB are perfect and functional. People come to these forums often for help with the "computingly challenged" ones or that they have some questions in general.

I'm pretty sure if half the people made a thread for everytime it came to their mind that they love their apple machine, this forum would be a world renowned fanboy fest. There is rarely any flaming around here and we have a good community that likes to help others in a positive way (usually). So yeah, I would say its perfectly normal to see most threads about problems because it is highly likely we will help them out.

I hope everyone is enjoying their apple machine as much as i am :)
