So, any more impressions of yours?
Good on reminding me. I had totally forgotten that I said I would give more impressions.
So far I am really enjoying this thing. The screen size is quite nice for what I am using it for, being only .4 inches smaller than a MBA or Pro, and that's a 4:3 display. Having that higher refresh rate is also great, when I go back to my iPhone I can really notice the difference. Speakers are pretty good for a tablet too, enough so that I don't really miss the headphone jack as much as I would've.
Typing on it is alright, I make much less typos than I do on the phone. I might buy a keyboard for it, not sure if it will be the Apple or another brand yet. I have been using some USB-C accessories that I purchased, mostly to import photographs from SD cards so far. I also tried using a mouse with it, and it works alright for what it is.
Multi-tasking has been better than I thought, while it won't be as good as what you can get on a laptop, it is enough for most of the apps I have on it. It's enough that I can watch my email and reference a sheet at the same time, or copy information from the web or another document to a new source. I'd say that about 75% of the time I'm just using one app though.
Overall I think it's a nice device, even if I am not yet taking full advantage of its capabilities. I do use it almost every day though, which is good because I was worried that it would end up sitting doing nothing most days. But whether it was actually excessive, I think I will have to wait and see what I use it for in the future. So far, what I have been doing could've been done on a lesser iPad, but I believe that the UI and screen/speaker quality justified a part of the price increase.
