If thats what you want then...

buy a windows desktop PC, they are what you need to have the most power. In fact build your own then you can customise and fiddle to your hearts content laptops just aren't any good for that sort of thing. It will only be any use in very specific software use cases in any event, ie gaming.

As for phones more power will make no difference the software is optimised for low power use and all you'd do if you could overclock it is destroy your battery life. Same goes for a laptop to be honest.

Thank you!
So in my MacBook Pro and in my iPhone 6 Plus Turbo Boost works automatically (and without the Jailbreak). Am I wrong?

Yes your Mac supports and automatically uses Turbo Boost. This has nothing to do with iPhones of any sort.

I just wanted to know how activate the Turbo Boost in my MacBook Pro and iPhone 6 Plus, and people said me it is not possible because it is already activated. At this moment I am waiting for a confirm.

Download and install the Intel Power Gadget from here: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-power-gadget-20
It'll show you the actual speed of your CPU which is often lower than advertised, but will go into the Turbo Boost range when CPU load demands it.

I would like to overclock my MacBook Pro and my iPhone 6 Plus to make the most of their power.

If you are looking for maximal performance on a budget, then MacBook Pro is not the right product for you. Try a custom built and overlocked box.

Make it simple...

Turbo is already on when a game or program needs it. No need to do anything.

Trying to overclock your system will void the warranty.

iPhone is fast enough. You will void warranty if you try this.

Leave it alone and enjoy what you have. Everyone else it

;)

Yes, Turbo Boost is already activated on your MacBook Pro. Intel processors use this technology so that they can give you a lower clock speed over several cores that fit a certain power usage, but a single core or two can be overclocked (automatically by the system) to help complete tasks. No user intervention needed or capable.

As some other posters have already said, the iPhone (6+ or otherwise), does not have the ability to Turbo Boost. This is due to the nature of the processor found inside iOS devices. ARM processors will run at the clock speed they were made at, and no more.

your Mac Book Pro processor has following Turbo Boost settings

tasks using 3 or 4 of the cores? Can turbo boost in 10 100MHz steps. Maximum turbo boosted frequency is 3600MHz

Tasks using 2 cores? Can Turbo boost in 11 100MHZ steps
Maximum turbo boosted frequency 3700MHz

Tasks using 1 core? Can turb boost in 12 100MHz steps
Maximum turbo boosted frequency 3800MHz

Turbo boost kicks in only when its required and when the processor is cool enough for it to safely do so You do not have to enable it. Your processor is waiting and ready to do it whenever it can.

What is it for? to give your 2.6GHz machine the performance of a 3.6 to 3.8GHz machine for short periods of time.

What is it NOT for? to provide that extra performance for long periods of time (like when your encoding a long video) That heats the processor up and the Turbo boost begins to turn itself back off.

Conventional 'Overclocking' would be increasing the 2.6GHz base clock so that it runs at 2.8GHz or 3GHz or 3.2GHz all the time.

1 Your processor does not allow that

2 Your mac book has no way of setting that, even if your processor did allow it

3 Your macbook is not set up to cool a processor that is overclocked all the time

I have understood that the Turbo Boost on MacBook Pro and iPhone 6 Plus works without my consent.

The iPhone 6 does not have Turbo Boost.

The Macbook Pro has Turbo Boost, and it will activate it automatically when necessary. You cannot control it.

Turbo boost is already on and the Mac will activate it when it needs it. There is no setup required, it just does it.

To the best of my knowledge there is no way to overclock an iPhone 6. There is also no reason to because there is nothing you can run on it that can utilize more power in any meaningful way.
