As previously pointed out, WoW and Starcraft are completely different genres, nothing alike, not comparable, other than do you prefer a MMO or a RTS?
What I continue to love about WoW (and can't seem to resist replying to threads like this) is the environment of the game. The landscape, environmental effects, the quest giver interaction, the animations, the atmosphere. It is the best I have seen.
However, starting WoW today is not like it was in it's heyday. Lower character levels are nerfed (not necessarily bad), but I would be surprised if you don't see other players around to interact with at the lower zones. What I like most about these zones is their wild, undeveloped nature. Bunches and bunches of them, each unique, and wonderful to explore. I bailed before Cataclysm and played all most exclusively Alliance (the good guys).

If they ever offer a "free to play" WoW, I might have to back just to wander around and visit.
Which brings me to
WoW endless trial...
If you all ready have an inactive Wow account, can you use it to start new characters for free? If so how?
