It is now!

My PC was dying a slow death and despite my best attempts to keep her going, I accepted defeat and started looking for a new machine.

Decided that for the same price as a decent PC, I could get a good Mac, which would be up to date for longer and would do exactly what I wanted just fine.

I am so impressed with it!!

Have a Windows laptop, but that has been in my other half's posession pretty much since I bought it anyway!

late 2007 iMac here, and yes, my main/only comp.

though if you add up total hours on a computer, my pc at work gets used far more...

Yup, my iMac is my main computer

Up until march of this year I was using an old pc of about 7 years which still ran quite well, but I had always wanted a mac, so I bought an 09 iMac, 2.66, 320Gb hard drive,2gigs of ram, etc.

I love this thing, and the learning curve is not what I expected it to be, meaning it's been easier than expected. Thank god for this forum and its members, because your information has been invaluable to me since this purchase. Thanks guys.

I´ve an autumn 08 Imac 3.06 Ghz. It´s not my main computer, but it´s the one that convinced me to make the switch from Widows to Apple for good.
My main is the 17" Macbook pro (specs in sig). We have another Macbook in my household as well, a 13" unibody.
This may sound like a millionaires villa, but fact is we´re two poor writers that have invested in our main work tool. Apple has made our lives so much easier than it was with windows ...

my iMac is my only computer. I had an Acer laptop (don't know the specs) but love a desktop so much more.

I got interested in the iMac after owning the iPhone for a month. I just loved the OS and interface, and when i saw the iMac, had to have one. I went into best buy and just told the guy "I want that iMac, right there"

I was in and out w/in 20 minutes LOL

I love my iMac I am, still learning new things about it, which makes me love it even more. I was a windows girl for 10+ years only thing I regret is not having an iMac sooner

Oh and I have the 24in iMac

Sorry that got kind of long :D

I've owned Macs all my life never owned a windows machine

I'm not quite sure why anyone would buy an iMac as a supplementary computer. It doesn't seem like it was designed for that.
