You can correct a "too yellow" screen in iOS 10 via an Accessibility option.

Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > Color Filters > Color Tint (play with Intensity and Hue sliders)

Again same story as each year. Yellow issues abound. 2017 model seems to have exactly the same glaring problems.
 
You’re all going to drive yourselves nuts trying to find the magic device that you think has the perfect warm/cool tone to your eyes. And eventually Apple is going to run out of patience. If you’ve exchanged a dozen iPads because they’re too yellow or too blue, the problem is YOU, not the iPads.
