Out of curiousity if your iPad is still lasting 10 hours...I remember at first it would take forever for 100% to trickle down to 90%, but now it seems my iPad goes down from 35% to 9% in less than 2 hours...

Iono..

..Iono.

My iPad still lasts very close to, if not exactly 10 hours.

Has your iPad been exposed to extreme temperatures, like being left in a car on a hot day or a cold winter day (if you're in the southern hemi)? Temperature extremes can kill battery longevity.

Yes.... unless i use my iPod Charger (the original one i got for my ipod video) on it. I have no clue what it does, but I can't make it a day on it and it took a couple of days to cycle the battery up to snuff.

I'm back to charging every 2-3 days with the same use.

It didn't last long yesterday - but I discovered that the child had cranked the brightness up about all the way in the car while she was streaming BBC Radio 1 on Wunderradio

(on that note, but wayyyyy off topic, a lady at speech therapy asked me if i'd heard about the body they found behind a store yesterday, i told her no - my child has discovered BBC radio, i know nutin' local.... ask me about the UK! I can't totally blame the iPad 3G for this though - we were listening on XM too).

I turn it on around 8am at 100%

At around 11pm it's at 22%

I say it's more than 10hrs and mines 3G

Don't use it every second but I do use it for long times.

Originally mine was lasting forever, even after I JB'd it. But then I installed a whole bunch of crap and something was making it drain on standby like it was in use and be flat by the end of the day without using it. I unJB'd it but it is still not lasting as long as it used to.

I've had mine for maybe a month and the battery is certainly not as it was. I have wifi on and mostly use it for the Internet, screen brightness is about 25% and have none of the push notifications on including email.

Is there an app that logs the usage? Otherwise, I just unplugged it 30min ago at 100% and will keep an eye on it. I hope I'm wrong and am just being paranoid about battery.

i dont understand one thing..
will be 10 hours since last charging the battery or 10 hours of use ?

I charged the battery yesterday at 7pm and currently is 22%.
my ipad is jailbreack

something is not right ...

Is Your iPad Still Lasting 10 Hours?

Umm, nope.

I use 100% brightness except when I read iBooks. It lasts me more than 10 hours :D. I play a lot of Gameloft and graphics intensive games but I don't use wi-fi and 3G much. Probably the reason why my battery's so robust right now is because I've done a couple of recalibrating. When my iPad was new, battery life wasn't as awesome as it is now. This device is a beast. I'm so happy I've already decided to get the next gen.

Mine lasts for a long time - i rarely use it for 10 hours straight, normally just 2-3 hours with small checks here and there through the day.

I charge mine once every week. I suppose, if usage was low, that would be about 10 hours, but weekends include heavier usage on avg.

Either way.. Yes, mine still lasts 10 hours.

Use mine moderately per day. About 45 minutes - 2 hours. The lowest it's ever been after one week of no charge is in the 70's of percents. And then I end up charging it all night. So no, my battery seems to be better than it was before. (even when I use strictly 3G for two hours straight, I see about a 2-4% drop).
