The Hunter Green case looked great on the website. Hopefully, it will still impress in person. I ordered one as well.

I am concerned it will be really dark. Almost black dark green versus a true green like on the website as you said.

Estimated delivery is next wednesday so we shall see.

If it is a dark green, like the dark Olive for the iPhone X, I will probably return it. I also ordered the Saddle Brown again. If the green doesn't strike my fancy, I will put the brown on. Here is hoping we don't have to make any return. The green looks very unique and classy.

Looking at this in the Apple store app, I may want one of these for my X. I know it will have the slight gap, but it will be taken out of the case and cleaned occasionally, so shouldn’t have much harm.

I'm debating whether to have my phone go naked or use a case again. While I like how the naked iPhone looks, I worry a bit about how slippery iPhones are, and a case is nice for when I'm tossing my phone a few inches onto the counter/desk, etc.

Maybe consider looking into DB Brand skins. I’ve personally never used them but I’ve read they provide protection while maintaining the original feel/size of the phone.

I was going naked for 2 weeks already. But I do love the feeling of the apple leather case. So I’ve been mixing it up lately. Naked and saddle brown leather case lol. I do have Apple Care + as well.

I’ve had every flagship since the 3G, and only one has had a case: the 6 (IIRC, whichever was extra super slippery, the year before piano black was an option). That year, I used an Apple leather case, which was okay, but as soon as possible, I went back to using a naked iPhone.

I keep my phone in my front right pocket, alone, or in my left bra cup, if I have no pockets (stupid women’s clothing!).

When I put it down, I don’t worry about putting it down on a hard surface; it’s never been an issue.

I use AT&T Next every year now, but until a few years ago, I sold my iPhones, and always got good prices: there were never any more than micro scratches that one had to look for in sunlight.

Keep in mind, I have multiple sclerosis, which means I don’t always have complete control of my hands. But I still don’t use a case. When I’m having a bad phase, I don’t use my phone while walking, and I take extra precautions about how I handle it. That’s worth it to me now. It might change in the future.

If you’re the type to take care of your stuff, and if you don’t have little kids around, do what makes sense for you. If you sometimes drop your phone or don’t want to be conscious of it, slap it in a case, that’ll give you peace of mind.

I prefer naked iPhones. There is however one insane exception. I found a case that’s even nicer than my iPhone XS MAX, one case I would happily wear on my phone. There is, however, one rather large problem. This casts significantly more than that the iPhone XS MAX with 512gb... and yet even so, I am so tempted. These cases range from $860 for the cheapest, up to over 3k. The one I want is $1800 it’s so incredibly beautiful that I might actually buy it. How over the top stupid insane is that?

I would go caseless if it wasn’t for the camera bump. It annoys me. It also annoys me that Apple just wont make the phone as thick as the camera.

I get my cases from:

https://airportag.com/

Not only are they fun, interesting and one of a kind (In the sense I’ve never seen anyone else with them) the quality is so good. They are beautiful cases and they have a lot of other fun stuff too.

I’m going ceaseless, I don’t think I could handle the phone otherwise, it’s almost too big.

Let me help you guys out...best damn case: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H5D5CTL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Ringke Air. Not much logo spamming (like u see with Spigen). Very tight fit...corners don't peel back if drop face first on the corner. TPU all around. Thin enough...SLIGHTLY THINNER than Apple Leather Case!! Protective from drop due to TPU. Camera protection. Screen protection lip (higher than my screen protector).

Yes, it will yellow over time (all TPU do)...but it is cheap enough to get another one. Literally the perfect case!

It's interesting that so many people keep their phones cased when they go out and naked at home. With all the iPhones I've owned, the times it's dropped to the floor has always been at home, e.g., picking up a pile of paperwork or clothing where the phone has accidentally been covered and it falls to the floor; dog or cat on the nightstand accidentally knocking it off; or falling asleep before putting the phone on the night stand and having it fall to the floor from the bed. When "out" or at work, the phone is always protected in a pocket, purse pocket, coat pocket or on a desktop. I've never had one slip out of my hand. But I could never go without at least a minimal case.....just in case (no pun intended....lol:p)

Spigen
iPhone XS Case Slim Armor Crystal (I like the rigid material, as it doesn't yellow like the soft backing)

I started off naked with the Xs Max, but had to get a case. I had the X and went naked, but the Xs Max was just too slippery... It slid off my dresser twice out of nowhere, cracked the screen protector.

My wife actually purchased this case for XS Max and loves it.

I, on the other hand purchased the Rugged Armor case from Spigen and love that one as well. I have NEVER used my Iphones with a case in the past but with this XS Max being so expensive and all glass, I felt like I had to do it.

These cases add little to no bulk and provide excellent protection all the way around... and they're only $12 - $15 on Amazon.

Official saddle brown leather case this year for my Xs max as I didn’t get AppleCare.

Using the X naked last year was great though!

I just have a skin on the back of my Xs. I mainly got it so I can grip my device easily with one hand and also so it doesn't slip off the sofa when not in use.

I got a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case for the XS Max that arrived today from Amazon.

Exactly the same. I sometimes pop the phone out of the case and enjoy its glorious design but I'm too OCD to go without any protection.

I have to admit I also have a slickwraps naked skin, just to be extra safe lmao (but some of the sides didn't stick too well). Now only if they provided skins for the side buttons too, because with a skin you can barely feel them.

I wanted to leave my Max Naked. It's such a beautiful phone. But alas, I bought a the red leather case from Apple and I'm very happy with it.

Having the Max I was going thru case after the case to find one that didn’t make my phone feel bulky. I decided on the Apple Leather Case in Black. Sleek feel and doesn’t add any unnecessary bulk.

Naked except for times when I’m at the gym, running, etc. When I have it in a case, I cannot wait to remove it. No way am I buying something this attractive and then covering it most of the time with an ugly case: every case that I’ve had or seen uglies up the iPhone.

I decided to use an official Apple case on my Max for the first time and guess what? The glass on the lower half of the back is already scratched from the god damn case itself.
