So, here it is Wednesday and nothing yet. Have contracted "mouse finger" from clicking Software Update button. ;)

~drums fingers on desktop while waiting - whistles to keep outlook bright~

It probably won't come from Software Update. As with iCal, iTunes, etc. you will probably have to download it from apple.com.

It's 10:22AM and I'm still waiting.

You're probably right, ibookin'. Here it is 6:30 pm and nothing. Boo, hiss.

Oh well, perhaps tomorrow!

Marginally off topic... but does anyone wonder -why- iCal quits when you close the main window?

Wouldn't it be more useful if the prog. stayed running even without the window, to make it quicker to open the window up again when you need it?

How about just hiding the program? :p Put the icon permanently in the dock and when you want to go back to the program, just click the icon, whether it's open or not - this is also quite cool with the icon changing to the correct date every day, so you also get a dock date display. That's what I usually do. It uses absolutely no CPU power when it's hidden, so I guess they just hope people will use the features they've built into the OS ;) And it is quite a small program - could even be classed as a utility - and a lot of utils seem to do this. I guess it's because, unlike a full-blown program like Photoshop or whatever, you've really no need to close one window down and open up another one while still in the program, with all your calendars contained in the one window - probably just trying to make it easier for us!

I usually leave iCal hidden, its nice to have the date in the dock.

Guess I was wrong about wendsday. Could be anytime now, I suppose. Wellisn't that spit on your neck fantastic.

Heh heh - I'm thrilled, I can tell ya!

This damned thing better be good, after all this waiting and gnashing of teeth. I want it to sync immediately to my iPod and my Palm, and additionally, I would like for it to do the dishes - or at the very least, provide me with a favorable stock tip. ;)

Beta version

Has anyone been able to sync the M105 with Isync? I got Isync to find my palm but when I hotsync using palm hotsync as it says to but nothing happens. and I click on sync in Isync I get a message in the log stating that it could not connect to the M105. Can anyone provide me with some help, if not I guess I will just have to wait for the official release....

With an early beta I've had access to, I've been able to sync the calendar with no problems... if my address book is empty.
Something seems to choke in the communication between iSync & the Palm conduit when it tries to sync the address book.... even when you specify for it not to sync contacts.
If you back up your address book database (and then copy that backup... just in case... I lost my backup after restoring it once), and delete everything... it should sync your calendar.
At the point of the beta build I had access to, there still seemed to be some problems with recognizing which calendar an event was supposed to be part of, if you modified it on the palm (it would duplicate back on iCal, into a new calendar called "Work"
Hope I haven't said too much, and hope the release comes out soon. I would love to see it working well (and will love to try out the "sync to .Mac" functionality).
