These are the specs that I'm guessing the next iMac will have...

- 30 inch screen (with touch screen capability)
- 8-core processor
- 1 TB hard drive
- 4 GB RAM
- Blu-Ray Drive

Well, maybe that won't happen.

You guess wrong since there is no consumer grade 8-core chip.. The Mac Pro achieves it's 8-cores with 2 CPU's. Don't plan on seeing a consumer grade computer with 2 CPU's any time soon. ;)

30" LCD displays just cost way too much money and there is not a whole lot of reason to have one. (Since the 24" already supports full HD). Adding touch screen capability just makes it that Much more unlikely.

You can already get a 1TB drive and 4GB of memory with your iMac.

Blu-Ray drive is very possible to be included as an option.

I bought my Imac in August and since then I've always had problems with it due to the video card problem (which is now fixed last month) Now i'm hearing that a new imac is comming out already........ If so is the resell value of the imac good?

Yep, most certainly the new iMacs (including the top 20 inch model) will come with a superior S-IPS panel, with even backlighting and no gradient whatsover ;)
You can choose a 20 inch iMac with 2.4 or 2.8 Ghz intel core duo (the 2.4 Ghz model only has a TN panel)
You can choose between a 24 inch iMac with 2.8 Ghz duo core or intel 2 Quad core processor.
With the 24 inch models you can choose between a glossy or matte screen.

All the existing problems (people have with the current alu imacs) will be solved with the introduction of the new line. ;)

If this would happen I'd be kinda pissed off myself, though I'm perfectly satisfied with my 20 inch iMac, despite the gradient.

i can top that. bought and ipod nano the day b4 the new was announced...maybe i should take seve jobs to judge judy's gavel. but to be honest. i would do that just to meet steve jobs. steve has made my life a much happier one
