This is ridiculous. Do you realise how many people who voted don't even own an iPhone? There no science whatsoever in Engadget polls.

This morning my 3GS decided to crash and go back to the home screen whenever I opened anything, and when I put it in sleep mode it took about 10 seconds for the screen to come on, then when sliding the unlock bar, it froze at the end.

A reboot fixed it and it's fine now *touch wood*

You have made no case. I know a good number of people on 3.1 who have never hacked their phones and are experiencing problems.

If you're not one of them then great but I say give it time and you to will develop issues.
