Even though no trees have really turned color yet, I saw these leaves on my beach yesterday.

I still want it to be summer...

Oh, yeah. There was a summer  Summers in Florida are probably like winters in Norway. They last almost all year :p
Ah, now I get it. That day with more than 20°C (68°F) we had a couple of months ago must have been this years summer...

And, I live in western Norway. Here we don't have winters, either. Just long wet springs, a couple of days with sun sometime in July/August, followed by long wet autumns, then two or three days with snow, usually in January, and then it's spring again... ;)

Aye, though it be a fine day for pirating today, me hearties an' me be lookin' to plunder heavier garmets, as Jack Frost be nippin' at our heels soon enough.

20°C = 68°F :)

35°F = 1.67°C
Quite correct... I thought it seemed a bit low, but trusted the Converter widget... it did didn't register the '0' and converted 2°C... a bit low, even for a summer in Bergen... ;)

I'll edit the post above in the usual shame...

Edit: Hmm... weird... anyone else having problems with the Converter widget:

almost peak aspen viewing time

Stepping out on the deck and looking northeast there are quite a few aspen turning but peak for color is in about a week. This is near the well named city of Aspen, CO.

I didn't take much time with a hand held panorama and stitching in PSE but it's the thought that counts.

Very nice pictures everyone, thanks. ;)

Fall is usually the best weather here in New England. So far we are still having summer like weather. Just happy that each day we are getting closer to those lovely sunny, crisp, and clear days. :)

Ain't that the truth... I know it's fall when my knees start aching more (I've got really bad knees that act up in cooler weather). Sigh. Not to mention school's in session. *sniffle* Less MR time for me. :p

Come to Texas.

Forecasts are between 98 and 100 in Austin for our first day of fall. "Fall" as in "fall dead of heatstroke," that is.

sadly i've noticed too, always hate fall because that means winter is approaching. I don't know if anyone else is seasonally affective, but I get terribly depressed for the two coldest months in winter, so the beautiful bursts of color in the trees are only a bitter reminder that the bottomless pit of despair is near.

dramatic? never :)

I need to find a way to harness this in an art project, i've been meaning to for a few years. I think I finally have an idea tho.

Actually it's Spring... love all the new blossoms :D

I love Fall - Not too hot, not too cold. not as rainy as Spring. Trees look beautiful. And the ski season is right around the corner! :D

Fall is the best season. Not too hot, not too cold. The weather is perfect for strolling the beach with your shirt off, and a warm body in your arms. Ahh..
