Do you think apple should have warned you about the 12.7 upgrade and removal of iTunes features

Yeah that bug in the Column Browser was very annoying! back to normal with 12.6.3

Downgraded both Sierra and High Sierra to iTunes 12.6.3 and tested the App updates / App sync

Updating iTunes once can update all iOS devices afterward without downloading for the same apps again on each device - I turned off wifi and updated phone and ipad to test it - it works!

Also for those interested you can rearrange the pages of apps again from iTunes and install ringtones etc.with iTunes 12.6.3

I’m running iTunes 12.6.3 on my Macbook Pro. Not sure what has happened but when I started iTunes
I noticed that all my backups were gone and now iTunes wants to update all my apps. I kept iTunes 12.6.3
because I have several ios devices and limited internet so updating my apps via iTunes and then syncing
my devices makes it easier by not having to download the same app several times for each device.
So what happened? Looks like I’m going to have to stop using iTunes and find some other way to download
apps.

might be worth updating to iTunes 12.6.4.3 - it was updated to work with iOS 11

I just upgraded to this version a few weeks ago and everything seems to work better including managing apps on itunes with multiple iOS devices - especially the ones that are running OS11

Thanks for the info. I did the upgrade and all seems to be working ok. I lost all my previous backups which I really wanted to keep. I’m sure I can find them on my backup.

FYI - Update to anyone who has updated to iTunes 12.6.4.3 and camped out there - like I am

Have tried to install iTunes 12.6.4.3 on Mojave 10.14 beta 2 - Build (18A314k) - does not work - "This software is not supported on your system" :(

Works fine on High Sierra with iOS 11

But not with Mojave so far . . .

stay tuned . . .

Does 12.6.4 work with the newest High Sierra (10.13.6)?

If I install the OS update, will I end up with iTunes 12.8 and have to revert back?
