iTunes 9.0 deletes all firmwares previous to 3.1

Odd, I updated to iTunes 9 and my previous firmwares are still intact.

Does it delete the files when you update to 3.1? or when you upgrade iTunes?

Numours sources like this that actually lets you select which one and downloads it directly from Apple's servers. If Apple didn't want you installing it completly they would have removed them all off the servers:

It was probably to assist in taking less space on every computer iTunes is installed to and making it less "bloaty"

I'm not so sure now, I have 9.0 and then I upgraded a 3G iPhone. It was early this morning when I discovered the firmware versions were all gone. I also emptied the trash sometime after they were gone.
