I mostly use Pandora and Apple Music but every now and then there's a song that I have to buy so I'll either find it in iTunes or buy the CD.

Yes - I still want to own my music.

Agreed. As subscription services come and go, I still own my music and can take it where I want and use it on any device I want. Despite many user's hatred for iTunes, it's a good place to buy music that you want to own.

Yep still buy.

I come from a time where all the music I liked wouldn't fit in decent quality on my 64gb iPod, so when Spotify began I started throwing my less favourable sounds on there and keeping my favs on my device. Even now with a 128gb phone I've gone over halfway and so will continue to spread it across both.

Reason for still keeping a digital copy on the device is in case I can't stream for any reason, 3G/4G/wi-fi down, streaming service temp failure or permanent shutdown, obscure music not on their catalogue or has been removed by the artist etc. Spotify is an excellent backup though, but am seeing Wimp /Tidal with a lot of the same catalogue now - anyone used those?

I use to spend s lot on iTunes but since I subscribed to Apple Music I have no need to buy from iTunes .
The last album I brought was adele 25 and I do not blame her from nor allowing effectively free streaming.

Apple Music works for me and I plan to stay a subscriber long term

How have they come and go? Spotify has been around and Apple Music just came out.
