At first I rather detested the new logo, but I've come to love it. Aesthetically, it really pops in the dock, even if it does retain a simplistic rudimentary form. Perhaps I'm swayed by the vivid, deep colors it displays, because I'm surely enjoying it.

LOL, it took only 24 hours for you to go from detest to love. Just keep that in mind that everything deserves a chance first. I love the new logo too, it does seem to grow on me each time I look at it. Aside from the Pro apps, I do hope Apple changes the rest of their icons in Mac OS X to look like iTunes.

Ahh.. I think it looks a bit cartoony.. It looks out of place on my dock.. I can see the new OS adopting icons along this line now, though...

IMHO the new logo looks like an iStockPhoto job stuck on a poor copy of the Vistard start menu button...
